Fountain Modern Dentistry and Orthodontics

Didn't like the fact that every time I went in I had a different dentist as I am not comfortable having changing to too many dentist. Over priced and the hygienist always wanted to have me do the lazer on gums which costs alot. They were always late for appointments and so crowded in there. Then the surprised billed after they give you a total you pay full then a surprise bill shows up to your house... prefer fountain dental which is close by.

The hygienists and staff are very friendly and I’ve always had a good experience here. Reason for the review is that they’ve cancelled on us twice without calling us or leaving us any notification (such as voicemail). It’a a huge inconvenience driving all the way up to the office only to find out that our appointment has been cancelled and having to turn back around and head home.

The pediatric dentist is great with my autistic kids and so are the hygienists. We've been going here for several years now and they've made my kids comfortable with the process, which makes me one happy momma.

Amazing group of people. Made me feel relaxed and not belittled for my teeth. I will go to them for all dentistry needs. I recommend them 100%

This place, meaning ALL the staff, operate at an extremely high level in terms of knowledge, professionalism, and over all pleasantness! Fountain Modern Dentistry is a “No Brainer” if you need ANY dental care, 10/10.

I absolutely love this place! First off, my daughter was first to be seen. She is a toddler and they were very gentle and she felt so comfortable that she laid there perfectly still while they checked, and brushed her teeth. They were amazing with her and that already spoke volumes to my husband and I. Next was my appointment. First off, their technology there is so advance! They don't mind educating you on any questions you may have either. A very friendly and helpful staff indeed! I had great pleasure in getting my first exam because they made sure to be through and explain all that they were doing while doing it. Today I had a deep cleaning for pockets they noticed and everything went great. I again had wonderful conversation, was very impressed by how fast, yet through they were... just an all around great experience. I think what made me really write this review was that after my cleaning, she wanted to make sure that she saw me again ASAP to be sure things were going well for me. Taking that kind of initiative is what stuck in my mind most about the care they have shown. I will recommend them to everyone who asks and is prepared for many wonderful things to be said!

Best dental experience of my life. I have had plenty of dental work throughout my life and I have never found a dental office that is more professional than Fountain Modern Dentistry. Dr. Janica Gillette is awesome. She thoroughly explains every procedure and brings you into the decision-making process related to your dental health. She really cares about your health and explains all options so you feel fully informed. Further, Rikki is an amazing dental assistant. She also thoroughly helps you through the process with a lot of compassion. I have never said this before, however I now really enjoy going to the dentist. Best ever.....

Dr Gillette Backstrom was simply amazing to me. I had an emergency extraction done and she was patient and gentle and very thorough in explaining things to me. I have some other dental work I need done and rather than trying to just take money she suggested I wait since we are moving soon so insurance will cover more when we get moved and I dont have to repeat exams and xrays. I'm sad I wont be able to continue care with her.

Expensive and are either negligent or make a habit of charging for things that are not there? My daughter has TMJ (locking of the jaw) our ex-Dentist did X-rays about 1 - 2 mths ago and recommended that she have her 3 wisdom teeth (she only has 3) removed so we can try that first and hopefully avoid jaw surgery, he referred us to a Specialist in the Springs called Amos Colorado Oral Surgery, we went to them about 2 weeks ago and they also did their own full panel X-rays, also agreed with the diagnosis and also sat us down to show us the X-rays. (same set of teeth, same 3 wisdom teeth being referenced.) and the front desk lady was really nice, she told us that our new Cigna insurance wasn't paying their portion cause OUR Dentist was out of the Cigna Network! We never knew! So with ONLY using Delta Dental, out of pocket, they quoted us Three hundred-something. I asked if I got a new Primary dentist that accepted both insurances & referred us to them, is it possible for that amount to go down? She said absolutely, we just need to get a referral from an in-network Dentist. So fast-forward to this week. Went to Fountain Modern cause they ARE in Cigna's network and they also accept Delta Dental. Long story short, Daughter's appt was 4 days ago & they started cleaning her teeth even though she wasn't due for cleaning and I didn't schedule a cleaning? I explained the whole TMJ story to the girl who did the scheduling over the phone who must've ignored everything I said and just heard, "cleaning." But whatever, that was fine, no problem.. the dentist was really nice too, but he told her and my husband right off the bat that he didn't think she needed them removed? My husband had to explain yet again the whole TMJ story so the dentist agreed to do the referral after all, but the referral has to stay in-their-network, same office. (which was fine with us) we figured this will be cheaper anyways since Amos had to charge without a Cigna payment, this office that DOES have the Cigna paid, should be even cheaper right? We scheduled the appt and the girl said she would call us by end of the day to provide the price to extract her teeth. They arrived back home with paperwork that showed the numbered "4 teeth" that need to get extracted! But yet both prior dentist offices (And her ex-braces dentist from Aurora Co also) only saw 3, not 4. And they showed us the X-rays so I'm sure there is only 3. So we gave them the benefit of the doubt, likely an error, and waited for her phone call. It never came, so today I called to check on the price. She quoted me "$719 for all 4 teeth." I asked her, "You mean 3 teeth? Where'd the 4th come from?" She said, "It shows here she has 4." I told her about all the other X-rays we have had and only 3-wisdom teeth appear, why do THEIR X-rays magically show 4? She said, "Well it's cause Pediatrics aren't here today so I can't ask them, I will let them know and have them reach out when they return." I cancelled the appointment online and will not be returning.

It is my daughter's first set of braces and I have no clue how braces work. Dr. Lamm and Annette were very informative and answered all my questions and explained the process very well. I would recommend them to everyone if you want a hassle free relaxed experience!!
