The staff is incredibly happy to do their job. The receptionists are hilatiiusly friendly as well as down to business. Ms. Aimee my hygenist was absolutely wonderful. She was patient, kind, and very optimistic and understanding. The dentist gave me anxiety irregardless of staff. But everyone made me want to be there. And very attentive with COVID. I am grateful to have my new dentist and staff. Thank you so much.

I refer everyone I know to this office. Everyone there is always on point. The assistants are super helpful and the hygienists are both young and super friendly and do a great job. Every worker there is a pleasure to talk to. The doctor is new and is super down to earth and honest! You won’t find a better office than this one.

I was kept there for 1.5 hours, when I should have been there only 20-30 minutes total. There were maybe two other patients in the office when I was there. Of these 1.5 dreadful hours, I saw the dentist for about 5 minutes. Complete waste of my time. The doctor didn't even exactly know how to help me; he just guessed on a treatment option. I will never return to this dentistry. Way too much waiting for nothing. I will discourage everyone I know to go to this dentistry. My experience at Life Smiles was the absolute worst I've ever had with a dentistry.

Update to my update: I have called several other dentist offices in the past several months and a fee for “covid supplies” is nonexistent. This place is scamming people left and right.

Update: as you can see in the other negative reviews they provided a 800 number for others to call but didn't for me. But anyways... they have now sent me a bill after all of this, because I was right. And when I called to talk to someone she tried to blame me and my company for "the way it shows up from my company in their system". I get people and companies make mistakes but Lifesmiles really doesn't know what they are doing. I asked why they would make someone pay a copay if they are just going to send them a bill and basically double charge them and then have to refund them and she's like this is just how we do it. Idk just doesn't sit right with me. Also they sent me the bill and it got here after the due date. Overall, this was one of the worst experiences of my life with a doctor's type offices. It really shouldn't take 4 phone calls to figure this out and they definitely shouldn't be blaming me and my company for a mistake they made.

I am writing a new review. This place has no idea what they are doing insurance wise. They told me I couldn't leave until I paid $45 ($20 a fee for covid supplies which I don't understand because dentists already have to wear masks and wipe everything down to be sanitary) the women was so adamant that 99% of insurances do not cover the oral cancer screening so I needed to pay it out of pocket. She also was so certain that everything else, my exam and cleaning was 100% covered (now I am going to take responsibility here that my old insurance was this way and I just got off my parents insurance and am still learning how insurance works and I was a little confused and I should have been more prepared but this mistake on their part was just not right) so I pay the $45 and a couple weeks later the claim comes in on my insurance and it says I might owe $20 some dollars so I call my insurance very confused. I learn that I'm only covered partially for preventative things like exams and cleanings the oral cancer screen was cover partially. So when I call back and speak to the manager she insisted that she was looking at my insurance and I was covered at 100%. I explained to her I spoke with 2 people from my insurance to make sure I understood my benefits and I was even looking at my benefits and I was only covered partially for preventative things like cleanings and exams. I'm not sure how you're going to tell me my insurance covers me at a different amount than it actually does. Also apparently my insurance happened to be that 1% that covers the $25 oral cancer screening and they force me to pay a copay on without running it through my insurance first (they literally told me I couldn't leave the office without paying the $45 "copay") the woman did even up giving me a refund as I as stated I needed her to run this all through my insurance again and refund me my money (after 2 phone calls, she only put a credit on my account the first time thinking I was going to come back after all of this). ALSO, they did not bill my insurance the PPE (if that's what it is called- $20 for COVID supplies) and my insurance said it's illegal because my insurance said while they probably wouldn't have covered it, they still need to know that there if that code to have the option to cover it. My insurance company suggested I report this company to the state. I really hate to say it but these people are doing illegal things and I would not give my money to them ever again as they don't even understand how to properly bill the insurance but would rather lie to you and have you pay "copays" knowing there is a possibility your insurance is going to cover it. Maybe I'm just a young, new to being an adult and dumb but I really don't think these people know how to run a business either.

My girlfriend came to her appointment today at 11am, when she went to the door it was locked, she called the office and they wouldn’t pick up either. There was no cars in the parking lot like they were closed but they scheduled her appointment for this day and if something came up they should have called her. We drove an hour to come here today and couldn’t even get in the door. There are plenty of good dental offices in laffayette so go somewhere else and save yourself the headache of these unprofessional people, we sure are never coming back
