Had an appointment at 7am. Tried to call ahead of time due to car not starting in the cold. Got through around 715am. They counted it as a no call no show even though calls were made prior. Unable to schedule appointments now due to thier policy.

Well I been reading most of the comments about this place, and I Can say most of them are true cause I been there myself, but I really hope that when I go back we get a nicer receptionist, kind of the ones they used to have. Cause the one that I talked to on the phone today, sounded like not having a very good day..! 😕

From the front office ladies to the assistants and hygienist (that saw my two kids and husband) as well as the dentist... everyone was absolutely professional. Very friendly and explained every step to the kids. Thank you so so much. We are happy to call Hintz Family Dentistry our new family dentist.

I was referred to this dentist office from my primary doctor Dr. Laura Abels because I live in the Ankeny area this dentist offices is very clean. The front desk receptionist was very nice. The doctor's assistant Andrea made me feel very comfortable and Dr. Scott Hanson was very informal and let me know exactly what kind of work that I need done, he had me in and out in no time. I can highly recommend this dentist office!

Do NOT see DR. HANSON unless you want to leave with more problems than you came in with!!! Dr. Clavis is great and very nice and good at what he does, but be sure to say you something when scheduling or they will try and get you to go with Dr. Hanson. Dr. Hanson will not listen and will just do what he thinks is best and does a sloppy job at that unfortunately. He might be ok if you are only needing a cleaning and nothing else, but book with him at your own risk! This rating is purely based on Dr. Hanson and does not reflect the performance or attitudes of the other doctors.

The front desk personnel were prompt and courteous. The dental assistant was very friendly, knowledgeable, and a great listener to all my concerns. The dentist was through with his examination and provided great customer service. I'd recommend them for sure. 👍
