Hands-down the best dental experience I have ever had! The hygienists are so kind and, most importantly, gentle. Prior to coming to Hintz, I was going to Aspen. The experience and level of service is a night and day difference. The facility is clean, service is amazing, and the staff is great about walking you through everything they're going to do prior to actually doing it. I'm already looking forward to my next appointment.

My daughter needed fillings and without a hello the dentist started in on numbing but didn’t use enough or allow enough times for the medication to work. He was rushing everything and when my daughter it hurts and isn’t numb he became annoyed and told it was all in her head! Are you kidding me? Then he gave her more medicine and didn’t come back a half hour. He was rude and disrespectful! I hope there is a different dentist there if we go back because he’s just not a kind person! 10/20/21 3-4 pm.

I put off going to the dentist for a year after the place I had been going for many years stopped taking my insurance. Decided to try Hintz & I was very impressed. The staff are awesome, the visits are always quick & my kids love going too! Very nice & relaxing atmosphere. So glad I made the switch, now my whole family goes here.

I saw Dr. Klavins today & he was so nice. I was long overdue for a cleaning so his assistant took my x-rays & did that first. He checked me & we set up my next appointment. I felt absolutely no pain or discomfort today and they were wonderful. I will be sure to tell other people about them.

This was my first time at Hintz family Dentistry. I came in for just a cleaning. The hygienist knocked out my filling while cleaning. I wasn’t happy since that filling has been set for 10 years without any problems. Then Dr. Hanson and assistant give me attitude while fixing my filling. I told them repeatedly it didn’t feel right and they just ignored me and rushed me out. I hope no one has an experience like I did.

They filled my tooth down and it helped tremendously. I am very thankful for a quick fix.

The hintz family dentistry located in Ankeny was by far the most professional office I have ever been too. They are not only professional, they are polite, and respectful to their clients. And they are great with children! They took great care of me, and my 3 year old! They definitely made his first time a fun experience for him! I would highly recommend this location to anyone! And anyone with children! We will definitely be back!
