Dr. Jacobs is the best! She is the most competent dentist I've ever had. In addition, she takes sufficient time out of her busy (jammed!) schedule to clearly explain why a procedure needs to happen. I was hesitant to try Dr. Dental based on reviews I had seen online that were very negative. The consensus seemed to be that making money was blatantly prioritized over patient care. But I had an urgent issue and they could fit me in so I went anyway, hoping for the best.
Dr. Jacob was nice and treated my issue; we discussed follow up visits. She reassured me regarding concerns that I had related to the work needed and I was happy to have found a dentist with a calming attitude.
A week later I called with a follow up question also fairly urgent. I noted that I couldn't come in to see the dentist because I had a sore throat and a runny nose and wasn't comfortable going with these symptoms which are associated with covid. The woman I spoke to said she would speak with the doctor and call me back before they closed.
I never got a call back, and woke up to appointment reminders for a 9am appointment I didn't make. I tried replying to the text and email reminders and called the office repeatedly, leaving messages when no one answered although it was during business hours.
I never got a call back in relation to any of these messages. I called later that afternoon and spoke to another woman who wasn't familiar with what had happened to date but said the doctor would call me back when I reiterated that I would not come in due to my symptoms. I never got a call back from the doctor, so I guess I've been officially ghosted by my dentist.
I definitely would not recommend this office due to this complete lack of follow through. I also would never go back based on the fact that they are making appointments for people with covid symptoms and putting their other patients at risk in order to make a profit.

The guy at the front desk was extremely rude to me and cancelled my appointment after I took the day off of work for it. They cancelled because I sent a google message instead of calling to confirm my appointment.A new arbitrary rule that can only serve to waste peoples time. it is not as if they scheduled someone else in that time. I was planning on spending a few thousand dollars on implants with them but will be finding a new dentist. A dental assistant there also is consistently rude every time I go in, and treats me like a leper for having bad teeth. I strongly recommend finding a different dentist if you are looking. As for Dr. Dental the company, I strongly recommend changing that arbitrary policy and removing the message function on Google instead of wasting everyone's time including the dentist.l
