Newton Dental Associates

I really loved this place until a couple of things. First of all, this morning I spent 1 hour driving in traffic on my way to an appointment and when I’m 15 minutes away they canceled on me even though I said I was almost there. The traffic was horrendous this morning and not moving and there was simply nothing I can do when I left over an hour before my appointment and live 12 miles away. So now I am sitting right by the place and missing work because of this and have to drive back in traffic. Second of all, last year they presented a plan to me for to potentially get veneers and Invisalign which I was crazy excited about, however, they failed to give me an accurate price. On my way out of the appointment the woman at the front gave me a plan for payment and 10 days later I got the real plan that was $10k more. So I spent 10 days planning and thinking I could afford it when it simply wasn’t correct. The next appointment I came in they fully harassed me several times about why I’m not doing the plan and it was so uncomfortable. I was worried it would be the case again this morning and I guess I don’t need to worry since they wasted my time for this appointment. I will no longer be going back here.

The office is clean, the staff is friendly and informative, and I love my dentist Dr. Osofsky. The hygienist I’ve seen the most, Maria, is awesome and does an incredible job every time. 10/10 would recommend!

From my perspective this is the best Dental Practice around! Annette is an amazing hygienist! And Dr. Anna Berik is a miracle worker! I have been going here for at least 20 years and my teeth have never looked better!

I am a long term patient of Dr. Walsh and this practice. Dr. Walsh and his staff are super. The office is spotless, the staff is very professional, but also friendly. I highly recommend this practice for both routine dental care and for more complex dental procedures.

Newton Dental is, by far, one of the best practices in New England. The practice is a “one stop shopping” for any and all a patients dental needs. Of particular note is their ability to retain excellence in their professional staff. I personally have enjoyed the benefit of the same hygienist for more than 20 years. A visit to Newton Dental Associates is like visiting family.

I had a wonderful experience at their dentistry today. Nice bright and very clean setting with wonderful staff who make you feel comfortable. Early appointments is also a plus!

Hygienist Brooke Roberts and Dr. Prince were great! Both were very friendly and meticulous. After recently moving to the Boston area, I have found a hygienist and dentist that I can count on!

My experiences were great from beginning to end today. Wonderful welcome from the front desk woman. I was brought in and efficiently cared for with great hygienist Annette Doogan who was knowledgeable and took great care of me. She was stellar at cleaning, which is a process that can be uncomfortable, but, due to her care and expertise, it was flawless. Visit with Dr. Berik could not have been better, she is articulate, witty, extremely skilled, and incredibly talented. She makes going to the dentist a uniquely enjoyable experience for me.

Went there for a second opinion about the gums around my implant and I liked Dr.Xu so much I am changing dentists to see him on a regular basis. He is very thoughtful and attentive. He knows his stuff!

They are suing us over an inflated bill.
This isn't the first time they have overcharged us- I stopped using them two years ago. My child was in severe pain and made an appointment with Dr. Walsh. When they showed up, there was no Dr. Walsh. After waiting for over two hours to see a dentist, still no help. The dentist who was there (while working on someone else) was slurring their speech. My child got up and politely told the front desk that they had an appt with Dr. Walsh, had been waiting two hours and needed to get help, and wasn't comfortable seeing the other dentist. But they still charged us.
