Just joined Newton Dental Associates as a new patient & I am so glad that I did! The office is spotless & beautiful, all of the employees were incredibly kind and took interest in you as a person not just another patient in the door, and their examination was so thorough. They truly care about helping you maintain great dental hygiene & getting to the bottom of any dental issues you may be having. I feel like I am in great hands here & would highly recommend!

I have been going to Newton Dental Associates for more than 30 years. This is a very well run dental practice. When I have had needed dental repairs Dr. Berik and Dr. Walsh have given me excellent care. I always feel safe and confident with whatever treatment they give me. Highly recommended.

I’ve had extensive work done by him and I’m always happy with the results. From cavities, broken teeth, cleanings, crowns, and root canals, they do it all.

If going to the dentist can ever be described as “enjoyable”, this is the place. I’ve been a patient here for almost 15 years. I love my dental hygienist; she is thorough, quick and makes it a painless process. Dr. Walsh is amazing; always accessible and available in any emergency. I also am borderline phobic regarding dental care and anything to do with teeth. I sit on my hands during a cleaning. They help me to feel at ease and I always leave with a “that wasn’t nearly as bad as I thought”. I believe I was one of their first wave of in office patients for routine visits after the COVID shut down. In summary - exceptionally clean healthcare environment, very courteous staff, and amazing dental health providers that listen to their patients.
Editing in regards to insurance coverage: Newton Dental was part of my plan until recently; new agreement is Delta Dental will reimburse me (the patient) directly. I was surprised at this on my first check out under this new agreement 6 months ago at an annual cleaning. I was charged the full cost of cleaning and X-rays. A bit surprised, but given my history as a patient didn’t doubt the explanation. Granted, i am certain I ignored a piece of snail mail I perceived to be junk. Delta reimbursed within 5 business days the full cost. It was no extra effort on my part as Newton Dental took care of reimbursement procedures and I received a check from Delta in full amount. Before you make untrue statements regarding coverage and cost, please understand your plan and your options. I have found Newton Dental to be exceedingly accommodating in billing if you explain your circumstance, coverage, any FSA/HSA WITHOUT any pressure to finance.

For anyone who is a big baby, like me, when it comes to the dentist - this is the place you need to go. Dr. Wagner and her staff went above and beyond. Kind and patient. Highly professional. I cannot say enough. They are so good I am not even afraid to go back. And if you knew me, that says a lot!

Not good. I wanted to reschedule the appointment but I couldn't because they have a $75 charge.

Best dental experience I’ve ever had. All the staff were friendly and informed me of everything they were doing before or while doing it. Allison, who took care of my zoom whitening made my hour long process pleasant and fly by.

Avoid at all costs - they sneak in extra charges such as $65 for flouride despite my asking during the visit to only do a basic cleaning. My visit as a new patient was nearly $700, and I have had no issues with my teeth historically.

Additionally, they are out of network for my insurance (Metlife) despite telling me when I initially call that they "accept" it. I'll need to do my homework better next time!

Changed from 5 to 1…. Being there was wonderful, but they are not transparent with charges.. I went in for a cleaning… asked wether they were in network and they said “Yea we take Aetna”….. did a bunch of x-Rays which they did not disclose would be an additional charge on top of the cleaning… Total amount came out to 600, which my insurance refuses to pay since they did not disclose they were out of network..after I asked when I made the appointment.
