Riverpoint Family, Cosmetic and Implant Dentistry

This place is a scam. I was hospitalized due to infection in my wisdom teeth giving me a blood infection. Upon release from the hospital I used this office for the extraction of all four wisdom teeth and one molar. They had to shatter two of the wisdom teeth with no anesthetic because the infection would not allow it to set. Prior to a few follow procedures (bone graph, root canals, crowns, etc.) I noticed I still had shards of tooth left in my gums and I was unable to eat because of them. When I brought it to their attention, they then wanted to charge me for an additional extraction to remove the shards of tooth they left in my gums. I declined because I felt the job I paid for was left unfinished and I should not have to pay again. During this visit they were to perform a root canal on my front top tooth and they left my in the chair with my jaw held open and the rubber assembly around my tooth for OVER AN HOUR with no one else in the room. I paid for the services rendered at the end of each visit. Now over a year later they have popped up on my credit report stating I owe them over $700!!! They never finished the services for the extraction I paid for and never finished filling the cavities they charged me for. I had to get a different dentist to remove the shards left in my gums and they did it for free because I explained the situation that riverpointe put me through.

What a great experience! The office staff was so friendly and nice. My hygienist (shaundra) was kind and gentle and very concerned about my comfort as was my dentist Dr. David. I felt comfortable and safe. The fancy and upscale surroundings make you feel relaxed. The TV in the cleaning room showed an aquarium video which was soothing. Happy patient!

****updated**** As you can see me rating hasn’t changed but that’s because of how awesome these guys are! I just really wanted to shout out Darlene, their new staff member. She is just truly special and was a blessing to keep my 10 year old busy until her appointment while I was in mine.

Even though running behind these guys did an amazing job!! From Lilly at the front desk, to Ashley my tech everyone was super patient. I really liked Ashley as she keeper me occupied as I was having 2 teeth pulled. She explained everything to me in detail after we were done. Dr. B was just amazing!! From making sure I was OK, to apologizing for running behind. He really, truly cares about his patients and treats them like friends not another insurance claim. I really felt comfortable with him and his staff. He explained everything to me and now has a care plan for me. I've spent most of my life in fear of the dentist, now I have found one that I will recommend and return to. Thank you so much!!

Got the opportunity to have my clean done by the hygienist, Shaundra and she was dope! Made sure I wasn’t in any pain the entire time and went through thoroughly of the process that we’d be looking into after my cleaning. The receptionist Kyra was dope too. She was very helpful and gave me a quote and ran me through my insurance while I was there on spot. Super friendly environment with awesome people! Whoever reading this, give everybody in here a raise because they top 5 with it!

As a busy working Mom it is hard to work in appointments for your children. Riverpoint Family Dental has early morning and evening appointments to help accommodate to get my family in. I trust the dentists and feel confident with the care they provide for my family. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. The office is nice and clean and they have an amazing view of the Sandia Mountains. If you are looking for a great dental office, I highly recommend coming here.

This Places rocks!. Very clean and welcoming Shy was so sweet when I called to get my next appointment. being i was undecided to get a crown.
Came home and though about it.I am not looking forward to this at all. I have have some BAD experience.
But Dr. BOYD was very a patient, kind and explained things to me. I am going to go through the crown here soon. My hygienist was Hannah. She was kind and gentle. I am sure if they will take good care of me! I will see them next year.

I had a quick and painless visit, including x-rays, cleaning and an exam. Everyone is pleasant, professional and caring.

I’ve been going here for a little over a year and love it! Always clean, on time, and friendly staff. My hygienist (Samantha Olivia’s) is great! She always has a smile and upbeat personality I leave with a perfect cleaning and advice on how to better take care of my teeth every time. Dr.B has also done some work on my teeth and I am completely satisfied with his work. I highly recommend this dentistry!! 5stars!!!

Like most people, I was not one to prioritize dental care. Your basic brushing twice a day, and flossing. It gave me a bit of anxiety to go to a dentist office after all these years, and feel like I'm going to have a mountain of bills, and my teeth will hurt. This was not the case whatsoever. From the receptionist who I spoke to when scheduling, to the doctor i met with, were all very kind and understanding. In no moment did I feel talked down to, or that my time wasn't valued. They answered every question i had confidently and with care. Also the cost was extremely reasonable. I look forward to future visits, and recommend this office to anyone looking for a new office.
