It’s always a little daunting moving to a new place and having to find healthcare providers that you like and can trust. I’ve been through a few doctors and dentists in various places, because sometimes I’ve gotten ones that don’t seem as competent or as honest as I’d like. Luckily, the reviews I read that led me to Riverpoint were spot on and I didn’t have to hopscotch around town looking for a good dentist office. I see Boyd Newsome, DMD, and I couldn’t be happier. He is friendly, knowledgeable, and empathetic. I’m a very nervous dental patient and he understands that and goes at the pace I set when I’m scared. Besides him, the dental hygienists are all amazing- all friendly and caring and seem to know all the latest dental treatment techniques and news. The office staff is also great. I’ve never once walked in there and failed to be warmly welcomed, and they are very efficient as well at getting you in and out, and figuring out insurance stuff. I 100% recommend Riverpoint...Dentistry.

I have been going to Riverpoint for years, and the quality of their service and staff is always above and beyond. They are fantastic. The staff: always friendly, quick, accommodating. Hygienists and assistants - the best. Dr. B - a perfectionist in the most flattering sense of the word: no cutting corners, no pressuring, no hurrying, no compromising quality. Today, I watched him, Jennifer, and several others work for 5 hours straight on 3 orphan kids from Ukraine. It was only the beginning. Those kids have massive amount of work that needs to be done after years of neglect. Dr. Boyd said “Let me help.” And now he and his people are helping those kids pro-bono, because Riverpoint understands that “it takes a village” I like that village, I am never moving. :) Thank you, Dr. Boyd and every single person at Riverpoint.

I recently moved to Albuquerque. I was nervous about going to the dentist. My anxiety immediately went away bc the staff is very friendly. Dr Boyd looked over my xrays and said my teeth looked great. I trust his expertise and honesty. Samantha, the dental hygienist is very sweet, a really good experience!

After I had posted a not so good review Dr. B called me and was eager to listen to me and make things better. I appreciate how he handled the situation and was sincerely sympathetic to my situation. Unfortunately I had to part ways because of 1 staff member and hopefully she will learn from her mistake and realize we are all human beings. I did speak to Lorena another time and she was extremely personable and has great customer service skills. The new girl should take note. Had such a wonderful experience! The office staff, hygienist and Dr. B were all amazing. The office is clean, everyone is friendly and good at their job, the wait time was nothing and I was able to get in within just a few days of calling for an appointment. Highly recommend!
