The office was clean, the hygienist was amazing and Dr. Picot did an excellent job with a crown and a few fillings. HOWEVER, the front office and billing office need an overhaul. My daughter, who is on my insurance, tried to schedule a visit and got harassing phone calls asking for insurance or telling her she needed to pay. The insurance had already been submitted. Also after paying $1,200 out of pocket for my procedures, I had to call and ask about a credit due on my account. The insurance had my portion of the services at $1,000. I had to sit on the phone and go line by line regarding my bill and the next services to avoid any over charges. The billing representative even said not to worry about the next services on my planning sheet since I was running out of insurance for the year. I had to politely reminder her that it would not inhibit my ability to pay. She kept apologizing and stating how she wasn't sure about certain aspects of my bill. Although the clinical aspect is very satisfying, I won't stay with a practice that has a front office that is incompetent. Advice to the dentist: Don't be money hungry and ignore that customer service is everything. There are a lot, A LOT, of other options in Charlotte.

I have been going to this office for four months and this has been the best experience for my entire family! From cleanings to wisdom teeth extractions, the experience here is unmatched. Dr. Justin Sanders did a phenomenal job on my wisdom teeth this past Tuesday. The music playlist was great and the follow up afterwards was the first time I have ever had that. The procedure wasn’t long and nothing really hurt during . After the surgery I had little to no swelling and 4/10 pain which lasted only the first day. I will refer Dr Sanders to anyone because his work is the best .

I really wanted to love this place. I left my dentist of 20+ years because it was no longer convenient. I looked at the reviews of this location and the reviews were stellar so I decided to give it a try. Before my appointment one of the Admins reached out to get a card on file. The Admin explained that in the case of a cancellation or a no show, I would be charged 50.00. I thought that this was odd, but gave them the benefit of the doubt because maybe they have had an issue with individuals not showing up and maybe it resulted in lost revenue for the company. I showed up to my appointment and everyone was super nice, my hygienist was super knowledgeable and really took good care of me. Dr. Picot was also very pleasant and knowledgeable. Dr. Picot explained to me that I had a cavity and I scheduled an appointment to have it filled. When I went to check out, the receptionist informed me that I had to pay half the money for the cavity filling up front. I explained that I didn't think that was normal and that insurance is typically billed after my service and that I would get a bill for whatever insurance did not pay. Again, the receptionist was very nice and just explained that that is how Dr. Picot runs the office. I opted to not schedule my appointment because paying up front for a dental service just sounded kind of crazy to me. Again, everyone in the office is nice, the office is clean, but the billing practices just left a sour taste in my mouth and honestly negated everything else for me. I will not be returning.

I appreciated the work that Emily has done. She was extremely gentle with the care with great conversation. The overall visit was excellent. Thank you to all the staff.

Facility is amazing!! I didn’t have to wait long to be seen and the staff… OMG is soooo nice!!! That’s very important to be because I am mentally terrified of going to the dentist and talking with the staff calmed my nerves.

I had an amazing experience at Southend Dentistry, today! Dr Sanders, Ifrah, and Devon took great care of me. They are knowledgeable, and down to earth, which made me feel comfortable. I’m highly recommend Southend Dentistry!

This was my first visit to SouthEnd Dentistry and I was very pleased with my experience. It was fast and effective, but all of my needs were met. My hygienist was very personable, and Dr. Picot was genuinely interested in me as a person and my dental health. I had a couple of concerns that were addressed, but I felt no pressure to urgently have work done. I would recommend this office and Dr. Picot.

These people are fraud. I went for my tooth ache first day and the lady took the pictures only and send me back. Gave me Appointment for next week I was in lots of pain. After the procedure whatever I owed I paid for it. After few year the send my bill to collection dept. that I owe them $20. Called collection agency, Miss Miller said that it's the charges for 2021 visit. I've never been to the clinic at that time. Be careful people.

Dr. Picot and his team are top tier. I went in for an emergency root canal & was treated with great care and precision. Everything was explained well and I had a follow up phone call the same day to check on my progress. Defiantly would recommend for ANY dental treatment.
