My first visit at SouthEnd Dentistry was great. I found it refreshing to be treated with professionalism and friendliness throughout my entire visit. After a thorough cleaning, Dr. Picot explained all details of my exam and treatment completely. I look forward to continuing my dental care at SouthEnd Dentistry.

Dr. Picot and Southend Dentistry are awesome! I have been coming here for years and will continue to. The hygienists are very nice and do a great job on my teeth. I have never had a bad experience. I love how they send email reminders and text messages to remind me of my appointment. I would highly recommend this practice to any friends or family. Dr. Picot truly cares for his patients and you can tell he loves what he does. Very pleased and happy I found this dentist practice.

Recently had a root canal done by Dr. Picot. What a easy and pain-free process. I have heard all the stories about the pain, but I can honestly say I feel fine. The only issue that comes up from time to time is waiting during the middle of a procedure if Dr. Picot has to evaluate another patient. I would really like to see them bring in another doctor to allow for a more seamless procedure with little down time.

This by far has been my worst experience with an office. I tried it out because of the reviews. The customer service was great but the payment process is ridiculous. I had my new patient visit and provided all necessary information. I had whitening done a few days after that. Paid the full balance on the phone when booking. On the day of my appt, an hour before, they pushed my appt back. Cool. Got there at the new appt time, sat in there 20-30 minutes only to be told that they need to push my appt to another day because they did not have everything necessary for the whitening. Of course, I was upset because I missed work for no reason. On top of that, they tried to make me pay an extra $200 for the trays on two separate occasions to maintain the whiteness when I was told by Dr. Picot that my whitening comes with trays included. Finally got it done same week so I was fine.

Fast forward to today, I get an email and text saying I owe $250. I called to inquire because I have no clue what this is for. Spoke to someone and it’s for my new patient visit and shows as PAST DUE. My first correspondence about this was 11/3/2021. The service was 9/17/21. They had an issue where insurance was paying checks outcome to the patient instead and because it’s past due (again, never knew about this), I have to pay this immediately.

I only went to this dentistry because mine was booked and I thought I would like it. But the money part has me worried, because it should not be this unorganized and then casually explaining to customers almost 2 months later when there’s a chance for it to go to collections and mess with credit. Ridiculous

Dr. Picot and his staff are excellent and very thorough in making sure the patient experience is top quality! I’ve never been to a better office, and would highly recommend anyone that is serious about their dental care to visit.

Update: I came in for a cleaning and was greeted right away. The staff made sure I was accommodated quickly, and I honestly believe this is the best dentist in Charlotte.

Dr. Picot and his staff are phenomenal! Very professional, courteous, and knowledgeable in their area of expertise. Dr. Picot always discusses preventative oral care and appropriate interventions. Best Dentist in town! Dr. Saunders is a great addition to this practice! Best Dentists in the QC!

I chose SouthEnd Dentistry because of its website, and so far I like it. You can schedule the appointment directly online (no having them call you, etc). You can fill out your paperwork beforehand and online. Everything is done digitally (a plus in my mind). You can text the work phone. They called me the day of the appointment and asked me to come in 20 minutes later, I didn't ask why, but I assume they were running behind and didn't want me to wait. I greatly appreciate the gesture. I arrived early and they took me back a few minutes before. I was a new patient, they took lots of x-rays and pictures (supposedly only a new-patient thing). I did have to wait 5-10 min for the hygienist, but she did a great job, no pain on my end. Once she finished, I again had to wait for the dentist (5-10 min). Throughout the visit, they were very communicative and instructive. I highly recommend for its great website and communicative and friendly staff. There is a free parking garage across from it.

I’ve been coming to southend dentistry for over 2 years. Each of my visits have been great. The staff is so friendly. They have a big emphasis on educating you about your teeth, what it takes to keep them healthy, and why they do what they do. They really care about their patients!

Kind and attentive. I’ve been coming to South End Dentistry for around a year now. Had my wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Picot, did some whitening, and come for regular cleanings. The staff is super nice and accommodating. Nothing but great things to say about this dentistry.

This was appointment number 3 meaning my thirds time returning and not in a negative way just going through the treatment plan. I absolutely hate the thought of dental work but South End has been very effective. The staff is nice, the Dr is knowledgeable of his work and y’all you through the process. I’m please this far and would recommend them to others .

I have been trying to get ahold of their billing department to pay a bill for two weeks now... no one has returned 6 messages and 4 contact emails . Also have no idea what the charge is even for as it was a cleaning with nothing added that my insurance covers. Also the doctor is really pushy with cosmetic fixes and doing this & that just to make way more money. Pick another place trust me. I am just thinking what if something bad actually happened I wouldn't be able to get in contact with anyone
