Great cleaning experience with Nellie - very thorough!

Very professional and knowledgeable staff. Everyone is very friendly every time I come into the office. Dr. Picot really likes to get to know his patients and develop a relationship with them, which is great to ease any anxiety when coming in. Recommend to anyone looking for a great dentist.

The atmosphere was amazing, the staff was very attentive and knowledgeable. Everyone was patient and friendly. It has been awhile since I have visited the dentist. I can honestly say the staff made me feel very comfortable and welcomed. Thanks for the incredible experience! I look forward to continuing visits!

I came here for the first time back in 2015. I had a wonderful experience from the things I remember. And then life got in the way and I haven’t been to the dentist in years. Fast forward to the last couple of days. I made an appointment and I was messaged and emailed immediately for confirmation. I came in and was embraced by a friendly associate named Julia. She got me checked in and i waited for only a couple of minutes before coming back. Also I must add, they all were wearing masks due to COVID-19 and taking necessary precautions to make everyone feel as safe as they can. I came back and they were very friendly and polite while getting me ready for X-Rays, and other tests. I enjoyed the conversation with them as well as Dr. Picot. He even remembered where I worked at from the last time I came. He made the entire process painless physically and socially enjoyable. They even helped me with financing opportunities since my insurance wasn’t covered since I lived out of state. While I only live in Rock Hill I would I would gladly drive to SouthEnd Charlotte to that dental office for any oral procedure.

Let me start by saying I am a real patient of his. I needed extensive work done on my teeth on several occasions due to carelessness and lack of dental visits. I'm 40 now and hadn't been to the dentist regularly since I was 15 after I came to Dr Picot 10 years ago. I came to find Southend Dentistry as I was in horrible pain and needed emergency care and couldn't find a dentist anywhere that would take me a new patient right then and there. I call Southend Dentistry and spoke with Amber who didn't ask too many questions she basically gave me the address and said see you in a about 25 mins!!! My teeth are not eligible for a smile poster and not at any time did anyone in his office make me feel the slightest bit embarrassed. The staff are kind and truly compassionate and do really care about people. Dr. Picot was very engaging and personal the entire time and made sure I was well aware of what would entail and follow during and after the procedure. I never would have thought it possible to laugh while having teeth pulled. I will be returning to this office for all my dental needs in the future. In fact, I am trying to rush to pay the remainder of what I owe because I am excited to get more work done by his firm. The practice is top notch! Everyone from the receptionist to the dental hygienists, they are always incredible feel very comfortable at their office simply because they are the best at what they do! I highly recommend them!!! I have been a regular patient since 2011 as stated above, today I came in for extractions after my cleaning last week and again as always I’m blown away by the ultra care and concerns of this office! Dr. Brad has been able to get me confident again about my smile and I owe him more than he can bill me outside of monetary means. I wanna give a huge shout out to his administrators upfront what can I say WORKD CLASS SERVICE SO AMAZING. Miranda and Terrica are keepers for sure!

Staff was very accommodating, they were all very responsive on the phone and worked with my insurance to make sure everything ran smooth. Tennessa took great care of me and treated me like I would imagine she takes care of her children at home. I came in the office in immense pain and I am sure I was not easy to work with. I was moaning and complaining.
They got me in real quick. Doc came in and explained what needed to be done and made it happen. I am super excited I chose them. I would recommend them to anyone and will be going back to get some other work done.

Veneer Nightmare​​​​​
** Update**
1) I never had veneers prior to this nightmare of an experience.
2) Dr. Alegria damaged my veneer when removing cement on the side of my veneer left by Dr. Picot.
3) Due to Dr. Picot's negligence I had to have a root canal completed.
4) After the completion of my veneers, Dr. Picot suggested in order to fix the alignment of my teeth I needed to get Invisalign by his office. Even though my teeth were straight prior to his faulty work/placement of these veneers.
5) This office exposes SSNs by leaving their appointment scheduling tool up on the screen in their consultation room.
6) Misrepresentation of photos - Dr. Picot posted my photos under the header Veneers when I was actually still in temporaries.

I will file my official complaint with the NC Dental Board along with all evidence.

Teeth were improperly prepped and veneers placed incorrectly. Needed two sets of veneers, the first set came back with the incorrect size and color from the lab. Dr. Picot did not send my labs for correct shaping as he stated he would and is customary. One veneer was chipped when removing cement after placement. Tried working with the office for the past 11 months to no avail. Developed a gum abscess during treatment as Dr. Picot placed my temporaries too high and food became lodged and trapped. I have since needed to have a root canal. Incorrect information provided about insurance and billing. Office requests that you provide signatures while your back is placed to the screen while in the exam chair. Dr. Picot stated during my consultation that a nightguard would be provided complimentary. However; at the end of my treatment he stated that it would no longer be complimentary but half price due to the additional visits needed through no fault of my own, but his.

Additional steps to take:
-Contact the BBB to file a claim
-Contact your insurance company to submit an appeal for any work done. This will allow them to reset your benefits in the event you need to go somewhere else to complete the work correctly.
-Contact the NC Dental Board to complete mediation or file an official complaint.
-Submit Reviews on the following sites: Heatlhgrades, Google, Yelp and any others of interest

I have reached out to this office on multiple occasions. Dr. Picot ignored my emails for 3 months. He only called once a reputable Dentist from another office contacted him after my consultation regarding my legitimate concerns. The outside Dentist was so troubled that he asked for permission to reach out to Dr. Picot to discuss my case and request a refund on my behalf.

I would never go back to Dr. Picot or allow him to operate inside my mouth. That takes TRUST and that has been severely damaged and ruined through my multiple attempts to resolve this matter and work with him. This has left me coming out of pocket thousands of dollars to correct his faulty work, multiple consultations, and emergency appointments due to severe pain that has resulted in a ROOT CANAL when I never once even experienced a toothache prior.

This office will claim some nonsense about Yelp reviews and Google Billion Dollar businesses which is ridiculous. Anyone reading these reviews can tell they were written by patients with first hand troubling experiences. You will notice there isn’t any question from the office regarding positive reviews, only the negative ones. That is because they do not take honest or constructive feedback from their patients.

Dr. Picot will make you feel as though his mistakes are your fault; which only adds insult to literal injury. There is no compassion, understanding or respectful communication on his end in addition to his dishonesty. This is very troubling when you have and will provide all proof to the appropriate corresponding agencies.

There are so many honest, and skilled dental practices in Charlotte and surrounding that are willing to listen and walk you through each step of your procedures and come up with viable solutions - that is NOT this office.

First time here as new patient! Very easy process from check in to the cleaning to meeting the dentist! Highly recommend. Lovey, clean office and staff does wonderful job of explaining everything. Learned more about teeth today than at all other dentist appointments combined !

It was my first dentist visit away from my home. The staff was so nice and patient with me. They genuinely care about you and your health. The visit was smooth and peaceful. If you're not sure about which dentist to visit, go here. You won't regret it!
