Southend Dentistry is a very personable and friendly environment from beginning to the end. Nicole was very informative and kind. Takara was extremely helpful when it came to scheduling and payment. The lost art of customer service is back. There also was another technician who initially began my xrays that I didn't get the name of. This technician also gave above quality service. My visit was what I would love to experience from all places.

Southend Dentistry was the best dentist experience I have ever had. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful, and Dr. Picot went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable, and answer/break down all the questions I had. I can’t recommend him and his staff enough.

I am a new patient with SouthEnd Dentistry and I have to say this has been the best dental experience I’ve had. The staff is friendly and courteous, the practice is very clean and modern, everyone is so professional and they get you in and out quickly. Everything is handled well and efficiently. I’ve already recommended to friends and coworkers.

Today was my first visit at SouthEnd Dentistry, and I had a wonderful experience. The staff was friendly and professional and my dental hygienist, Emma, took the time to educate me about my oral health. The facility is also very nice. I would highly recommend this dentist to anyone in the Charlotte area.

Please read the negative reviews and look for common factors before choosing this dentist. I visited SouthEnd Dentistry for a 6 month cleaning. They performed X-rays and a cleaning and then informed me I needed a root canal and had a handful of cavities. I was overwhelmed with the amount of information and extreme confidence that Dr. picot displayed and agreed to put a down payment for the root canal appointment despite having 0 pain in the said area of root canal or cavities. I found it very off putting to have to put a "down payment" on this procedure and felt pressured to say yes. After (thankfully) getting a second opinion at another dental office, I was told I in no way needed a root canal, had one small cavity, and that SouthEnds X-ray machine was clearly broken because the images had strange mirrored markings. My new dentist was appalled and confused of where the idea that I needed a root canal came from. So happy I have changed dentists and did not go through with an extremely costly, time consuming UNNECESSARY root canal. SouthEnd Dentistry did refund me for the down payment in a timely matter.

Dr. Picot also has incentives to write a good review online by offering free teeth whitening for writing a review. I believe this explains the many positive reviews, at least partially.

Now over a two years later, I have had no more cavities and no issues with the tooth that needed a "root canal". I have been going to my second opinion dentist since and am very happy. I also had a new coworker who hadn't heard my story go there for a teeth cleaning and have the exact same thing happen. Luckily, she has a family member who is a dentist a few states away and they advised her what was needed and what wasn't.

I am appalled that I can't blindly trust someone who I typically hold in such a high regard - a doctor. After talking to many coworkers, friends, and family, this is apparently common practice to try to charge people for more work than they need. Please get a second opinion and do your research.

Dr. Picot dental office is a clean and friendly environment. I enjoy going there and being assisted with their trusted workers, who value their patients. They give clear explanations to any confusion and their services are quick. I would recommend SouthEnd Dentistry to anyone who’s looking for a dentist office.

This is the second time that Dr. Picot and his staff have done an absolutely beautiful job on my teeth. Not only has Dr. Picot done amazing cosmetic work on my front teeth after they were damaged, but I will be entrusting him with Invisalign very soon. He's incredibly professional and kind and walked me through the process of repair to make sure I was comfortable and aware of exactly how he would proceed. I left feeling educated and appreciative. Highly recommend!

I had a great experience at South End Dentistry. I finally found the right practice for me here in Charlotte. My care team Terrica, Nicole, and Ashley were great and made my new patient experience a smooth process! I can’t wait for my next appointment.

South End Dentistry is my first dentist since moving here from my home town dentist. The staff is very friendly, and they make sure that you’re always comfortable. I waited no longer than 5 minutes in the waiting room for my appointment and was in the chair no longer than 30 minutes. Overall, I am so glad I chose South End Dentistry in Charlotte!

Lauren at Southend Dentistry is Amazing. She’s very friendly, gentle, & patient. She explained to me what she was going to do before she did it. Very thorough and efficient. The office looks & smells nice. Great location. Nice staff. Highly recommend!
