If Aspen Dental's Peace of Mind Promise of "judgment-free care" is at all important to you, stick with me and I'll tell you why you should look somewhere, anywhere, else.

I started experiencing excruciating teeth pain a couple days prior to my setting an appointment. This pain was unlike any I'd ever felt and was what convinced me I needed to see a dentist after not going for many years. I knew I needed a lot of work done, but I had avoided it because money is tight. Nevertheless, not knowing exactly what was causing the pain or if it would be a recurrent issue, I was committed to starting the process.

Everything up to the point of meeting the doctor was fine. In fact, the hygienist was quite pleasant, compassionate, and put me at ease. This was really unfortunate, considering my next experience with Dr. Moore.

Again, the reason listed for my visit was tooth pain. Dr. Moore did not acknowledge this and I felt straightaway that he did not care as he was very rough in handling my mouth. Then, one of the very first things he asked me upon seeing my teeth was if I drank soda. I said yes and that was it. That was all it took for Dr. Moore to know everything there was to know about me and my teeth.

Now, to be clear, I know that sugar is not good for teeth. No one is arguing that point. But I do know that I am not the only person who drinks it, though I doubt that everyone who sits in Dr. Moore's chair is met with a 10 minute lecture. I am not exaggerating when I say that everything he said to me from that point forward was related to it.

What Dr. Moore did not know and did not care to know was that up until a few years ago, my smile was not lacking for compliments. Cosmetically, at least, there were no issues. Then, my life hit a low point to where I frequently considered ending it. Making it to another day was an accomplishment, brushing my teeth was an afterthought. Days turned into weeks, then months, then years. My teeth decayed. I didn't even know until someone else pointed it out to me because I had stopped looking into mirrors.

It's true, I do enjoy a daily 8 oz soda. In knowing this, Dr. Moore told me that I needed to quit, the benefit of which would be me "losing 10 pounds just like that". How thin would I have needed to be to avoid that comment, I wonder? He then asked me what my blood pressure was. I didn't know and he told me I needed to know because it would affect my lifespan. He then added, "Unless you don't want to live a long life". If you've been paying attention, you might understand how this comment could hit a sore spot.

I wanted nothing more than to run out by this point, but he continued on as he did my exam, completely fixated on me promising to stop drinking soda. He snarked that if I didn't want to stop, I should just get dentures, but how that obviously would not be a good outcome.

When I met with the office manager, I told her why I would not be coming back. It seemed she was primarily focused on making sure "the process" was followed more than my being spoken down to. In any case, she thanked me for my feedback and I couldn't leave fast enough.

You want to know what the real kicker is? I went here hoping I would actually have a truly judgment-free experience to share with my extremely hesitant husband who has had prior bad experiences with dentists. So, thank you Aspen Dental and thank you Dr. Moore for making it that much harder, not only for me to seek help, but to convince my husband who needs it even more than I do.

I am very satisfied with the work that I received from Aspen dental. I love that they use a computer to get an impression for partials. It makes the fitting and size of partials perfect. Th doctor in Amarillo was very understanding and helpful. I also liked the fact that after having my partials for a few weeks they called to make sure everything was fitting correctly. I have to admit I was very Leary about having partials and the fitting. They made me real comfortable and I am glad I had it done

I had been suffering a severe nerve and tooth pain for over two years off and on and had been unable to go to the dentist due to COVID, ETC. Well, while I was here visiting family, it became too much and Aspen Dental saw me immediately. The front staff was amazing and helpful while working me in. The hygienist was empathetic and thorough. However, Dr. Moore was just an absolute God send. He didn't assume my tooth needed an extraction, found out the cause was just an occlusal adjustment, saved my tooth, and relieved a year's worth of pain in seconds. Now my mother and 91 year old gma are switching to Aspen. Thank you to everyone in that office for helping me!

Amazing people to say the least! Dr. Bathina was very pleasant and welcoming. Melissa and Berkly were so gentle, reassuring and funny. I was nervous and their humor calmed me. Brett went above and beyond by answering questions and giving personal advice about an issue that had nothing to my office visit that day. The office was nice and clean! Everyone I encountered was exceptionally nice!

My experience with Aspen has been a great experience. Melissa the dental assistant is very polite and caring. Berkley the dental hygienist is great! Dr. Batina is caring, listens to your concerns, explains, and gives you options of the treatment that is for you. Brettany the Office manager is great! She works out plan that works for you financially and she's super friendly. I recommend Aspen Dental for anyone that is looking for a short or long term dental work. Thank you for the awesome experience. Keep it up!

The service was good, the wait was horrible. I had to book my childrens appointments 6 months in advance. Then to reschedule if anything happened was another 3 month wait. When I went in I knew I needed work done, but not $9k worth of work done not to include 4 root canals at $1500 each root canal. So in all they quoted me $15k worth if work. Naw I'm good, if I'm going to pay that much ill just have my teeth pulled and get dentures.

1. Prompt & friendly service
2. No gimmicks
3. Accepted my dental discount plan (1Dental)
4. More affordable than other options I've gone to in the past

They put my dental anxiety to ease. So glad I shopped around after a really high quote from another dentist in town!

So easy to schedule an appointment and complete paperwork online. The staff were friendly and considerate. The exam was thorough. The only reason for 4 out of 5 stars was the lag time. 8:45 to 10:50. I left without discussing the various options for my treatment. Unacceptable for me.
