I had the same exact experience that Susan did? I was told 4's and 5's and then told I needed a $2000 deep periodontal cleaning with root planing and scaling. Idk what they where going to do a whole mouth deep cleaning on because my whole mouth wasn't 4's and 5's. I have beautiful health teeth and pink gums! I only went for a routine cleaning not to get scammed and treated terribly and the money beaten out of my wallet by the office manager Whitney! She has treated me terribly and railroaded me on top of trying to convince me that I "needed" this deep cleaning. SHAME ON Y'ALL!!!!!!
UPDATE!! After being seen at TJC hygiene Clinic which provides licensed dentist's!!! I was told that I had ONLY 2 4'S and NO 5'S!!!!!.also no pockets/bacteria! Just need a good cleaning! What Aspen would have done would have actually CAUSED me to have or develop periodontal disease!! Aspen is a total scam and needs to be SUED FOR MEDICAL FRAUD!!!

I have had a terrible experience with Aspen dental Tyler Texas. To make a long story short the financial people "Said" they verified with my insurance for my procedure was approved. They had me sign the paperwork. As time has passed and they are back and forth with the insurance company I find out myself by calling them; my procedure is NOT COVERED.So I spoke to a very rude financially named Myra. The start of her conversation was not nice. It was "I said I would call you back on Friday and yet you have called the office twice. She essentially said I am responsible for the bill even though they told me it was covered. What happened to companies that work with you after being told incorrect information. PLEADE TRUST NO ONE AND VERIFY THE DETAILS WI/H YOUR INSURANCE COMPANY YOURSELF. THEY WILL NOT COMPROMISE AND HELP ME. THEREFORE I WILL SEND THEM $10.00 A Month.

I went to Aspen dental in Tyler because I needed some care for my teeth they were really polite respectful and were pretty upfront about everything But... When it came to getting the medication for the infection they have yet to send it to the pharmacy 6 days later. If this is how they run their practice it's not worth having Dental work done. They do not follow up with patient. It shows they genuinely do not care. Thanks for looking out for you local Veterans I'll be going somewhere else for my Care. Do not go here.........

Everyone was very nice and had a great sense of humor! Whitney at checkout was AMAZING! Hadn't been to the dentist in awhile, so things began to add up ($$$). I was nearly on the verge of tears and she began to work her magic to find a way for me to be able to schedule different procedures tailored to what I can afford at the time. She made the whole situation easier to accept and I think she went above and beyond to make sure I was happy. She gets an A ++++ from me! Overall, greatly satisfied with my 1st visit.

Went in for infected tooth. Was provided free X-rays and office visit. I was told my issue was infected gums. The whole left side of my face was swollen. I was told it would cost 3k to treat my issues with a deep cleaning. A week and half later after initial treatment and oral antibiotics my face started to swell again. My wife called to ask for more antibiotics to get swelling down until he get back in for another visit. They refused to prescribe any antibiotics and told me I needed to have the left side deep cleaned. I ended up having to go to urgent care same day and was advised I have a serious infection and abscess related to a cracked tooth. They never fixed the issue and just wanted to charge me money that was not needed to fix my issue. Go to a reputable dentist. We will not go back!

Staff treated me so well.The experience was a life change dued to what the Ladies got done for me the day I walked in. The inside of my mouth has been feeling raw with no signs of irritation till 2days in it swell up. Within 2 day after walking in them doors I was treated for all that was needed& pain frree. The employees always kept enjoyable conversation up w/me as well as the rest of the crew. I'm definitely keeping them to be my Dentists..
