Winter Haven Dental

Had a great consultation with the doctor and decided to come back for an extraction of my last wisdom tooth. Dr. Hamarnah did an amazing job and very quickly too. I am very happy with my experience and am glad I chose winter haven dental!

I recently visited this office for some minor dental work. I was extremely satisfied with the results of my dental work. The office was very professional and clean. I loved talking to the manager and the rest of the staff, everyone was extremely friendly and caring. They have fair pricing and are willing to work out a financial plan with you, if needed. I would never go any where else.

I usually hate going to see a dentist. However, Dr. Hamarnah and his staff make you feel very comfortable and relaxed during your visit. The office manager Feda is very friendly and help with all of my questions. The dental assistant Joan is also very experienced and she always remembers the patients. Kim and Maria are the best Hygienists around. The front staff reminds you of all of your appointments and are very helpful with any schedule changes.

I have been coming here for about 5 years and the staff has been kind and very friendly. The dentist have been great as well. Not only do I recommend this dentist office I have recommended it to others and they have been treated with great care. To the staff... keep up the good work.

The staff is very very rude. I didn’t know what a medication was so the head lady at the desk told me I didn’t know how to do my job and I need to do better. They also scheduled me for an appointment. Then moved it because they were closed that day. When I went to the new appointment they said they never scheduled it and it was suppose to be November the 5th. Another 4 months out. They never told me of the change either.
They said:
Hello Felicity! Yes we called to reschedule your original appointment due to the 4th of July weekend. We left you a detailed message asking you to call us to reschedule. When you came in on 7/6/21 our staff tried explaining to you why and also attempted to reschedule the appointment, which we did. Not sure why you left us a bad review. Sorry you feel this way. Hope you can contact your ins provider and find another office that suits your needs. Thank you and God bless!

They called me around 30 minutes before this response. I cannot remember exactly who it was at the front desk that I spoke to. I was called in regards to this bad review. The lady said she wanted to release me and not see me anymore due to this review. She said that she would see me as a patient if I deleted the review, then when I came into the office I would need to sign a paper saying that I would never write a bad review again. She did state that I had a choice to sign and delete the review, however if I didn’t then they wouldn’t see me anymore. She also said if I wrote another bad review after I signed the paper, there would be a possible lawsuit. She continued to say how she loved me as a patient and always had good things to say about me and she doesn’t know where all this was coming from.
To answer their response, They gave me an original appointment for July 2nd. They happened to be closed. I have a voicemail from Myra or someone saying that she went ahead and scheduled me for JUly 6th at 12:20. I came into the office on time that day and the lady at the desk didn’t even speak to me until I spoke to her even though there was no one in the office lobby. I asked if I should check in somewhere and she said they were having lunch. She had no idea of the appointment so it’s good I kept the voicemail. She then said my appointment was for NOv. 5th. Which is crazy. I missed an appointment due to their mistake and they sent me off many more months away, and expect no issue. I asked if they had anything sooner and she said that there wasn’t. That the doctor who does the fillings only arrives ones a month on a friday I believe. So, I left defeated.
So she said in the call she would ask the doctor if I could come this next friday. I called back today and she said that the doctor said no. So I switched offices. I get that I only have medicaid, but I am still a person. I shouldn’t have to have the consequence of their mistake. All I needed was fillings.
However, I can say the doctor was a nice man. Though he does need better staff. Thank you.
Also, theres a lot of HIPPA violations in these responses. If they gave out your information then call HIPPA on them. For example, they stated someone had missed many appointments and another person they said he had inactive insurance. Perhaps they missed their professionalism class.

After searching for a good dentist in Winter Haven I stumbled upon Dr.Russel's office. I must say I was quite pleased with choosing them. Walking in the doors the place did not look like your standard dentist office. It was very cozy and extremely clean. I was nervous because I haven't been to the Dentist in ages and needed a pretty serious procedure. Dr.Russel was very kind and the procedure went great. Overall I am very pleased with my visit. The office had a welcoming feel and I will be referring friends and family to this office!!!!

Worst experience. Gave me a hard time over the phone with my insurance, I knew my insurance was active but instead of calling the insurance company to figure out what’s going on they call me and say it’s not active. Never called me back to let me know I’m good to be seen and never said they figured out the issue. All they did was just send me a automated text verifying my appointment. Never gave me special instructions over the phone with the COVID Issue. I just figured wear a mask stay 6 feet away no other restrictions. However, I was turned away because I had my 4 year old with me. I just brought her with me to another appointment, she has a mask she stays right next to me. No child care due to COVID now unable to see this dentist. Terrible experience and didn’t even get in the door yet. 0 Stars on customer service.

I have been coming to this dentist for 4yrs, all of the staff are very friendly with me from front office to back, Maria does a great job cleaning my teeth I love her! Fefe explains my treatment plans with so i understand exactly what I need. My children and husband come here as well and they all love it here.

Had gotten my crown done here and had such an amazing experience from start to finish. The office manager fefe was so helpful at the start and when I went in with the dentist he made it such an easy procedure. I hate dentists but the staff made it bearable, and fefe made it more than comfortable!

I needed an appointment for my 4 siblings and I, and the staff was able to fit us all in for cleanings on one day! The staff is so wonderful and I'm always looking forward for my next cleaning. They genuinely care about their patients and it's a wonderful feeling.
