I am a patient at Newbury Dental. I needed to have a lot of dental treatment done. I have a phobia with injections and Dr.Millen is very patient,understanding and always makes me feel comfortable. Dr.Millen is a great dentist and I always have a great experience. I highly recommend Dr.Millen to everyone.

Watch out for this people. Sticking my son and his wife for about 3300.00 for dental work. Nobody from Gentle Dental ever discussed with them how much procedures would cost to have implants put in. Stay away from corporate dentist!!!

I had a horrible experience with receptionist Stela. it is sad that office is losing patients at the front desk. I really loved doctor Millen and was pleased with his work. Loved the office stuff, but the whole experience was ruined by the negativity of one person.
She made a mistake of several hundreds calculating my estimate. After work was completed she handed me final amount that was much greater than originally discussed and asks me if i want to pay with check or card. no explanation of difference was given. I was not ready for the amount and in shock and disbelief I tried to understand difference assuming it was a mistake or miscalculation. That gave her the reasons to demonstrate lack of basic manners. Question followed that shook me to my core. "who do you think will pay for you?". The manner of question and attitude is unacceptable even if i was at fault.
I had to request information i needed from their home office by email. My email communication to head office was immediately followed by a call from Ms. Stela with the winning phrase: “you are emailing back and forth” followed by chastising me for daring to communicating with head office. i had to tell her that i refuse to communicate with her and asked home office to assign me someone else.. it was mentioned to me that she works there for a long time. It made sense; experience gives comfort and arrogance to certain people who could use it just the way it was used towards me.
Sorry doctor Millen, I really liked your work but you have horrible customer service.

Was given a quote for 2 procedures. After the first appointment, was charged 150 more than the quote. They told me the second procedure would have to be paid in full or that I could do a temporary solution and wait until next year. I understand insurance is finicky, but it's unacceptable to me that their quotes were off by more than a thousand dollars. I chose not to go back for the second appointment.
