While I thought the facility was very nice looking and the hygienist did a nice job and was gentle, there were some concerns. First was a lack of Covid safe practices. The only difference from standard operation that I observed was chairs spaced a little further apart in the waiting room . No temperature checks on arrival, hygenist did not use a face shield (don't remember if dentist did) - just a regular surgical mask. This means if she (or I) was carrying Covid, either would be at increased risk due to close proximity, particulates blowing around with high speed dental instruments (some offices have gone to manual tools due to Covid) and our inability to wear a mask while getting teeth cleaned. Also, the water sprayer continued to spray/leak so I felt I was continually being sprayed in the face or shirt. I think they'd be fine during normal circumstances but I have concerns about their protection of patients and staff during COVID. They might want to revisit these procedures and up their game.
