Aspen Dental

Everyone here is absolutely so kind and helpful, I had horrible anxiety about my appointment but I felt so much better after meeting everyone. I love that they offer a free appointment which is just diagnosis but they helped me get started on what I need done. I feel extremely comfortable going here and look forward to my next appointment.

I strongly suggest finding a local dental care provider over Aspen Dental. I had a poor experience as a new patient. I was scheduled for 1 hour. With any new dentist I've ever been to, in 1 hour I expect to have x-rays taken, an exam, and cleaning.

The appointment began on time and the building is visually appealing. The dentist was clearly knowledgeable and polite, but my time with him was incredibly brief; perhaps 3 minutes. Afterwards, I was told to wait... and spent 30 minutes in the chair without any communication. I had to prompt the lead assistant regarding my status, at which point I was told to wait further before she came back to tell me "Aspen Dental does not provide cleaning on the same day as x-rays and exam."

Afterwards, to schedule a cleaning, I was expected to wait over 45 days, which is not acceptable.

Go elsewhere for treatment!

I really appreciate how they know me by name, and they do there best to make everything in the visit go smoothly. Jason, Crystal, and Wiley, make it fun to come in for a visit. My dentist is very helpful, he is very efficient, but I hate to see how much he is over booked. Unsought of this, he does good work.

Worst dentist office ever. Inconvenience by them closing the Cortland office. Made a cleaning appointment 2 months ago , got a text saying have to reschedule 4 days in advance Are you kidding me. Don't go to Aspen dental!!!

From making my appointment online and I received a phone call to better explain why I was being seen. The staff were amazing and I didn't feel uncomfortable at all. Atmosphere was exceptional as well. I highly recommend Aspen Dental in Ithaca.

That was probably the fastest, most pain free filling I have ever had. Than you!

2 years ago ,was told I needed a deep clean , and I knew I had 2 teeth to come out. Things come up,only got half the cleaning done, never got the teeth pulled. Told my out of pocket price of 175. Paid it. Came back when I had time and now all the sudden,my bill is 380. Well insurance doesn't cover it is their statement ,yet their staff told me that it would and I had to only pay the 175. Well now that the tooth which was paid for intitally finally broke, low and behold bill is there for 380 bucks. Can't see me till it's paid. Well to bad scam artist you do half the work for all the price. Such horrible

I have no good words. I got into my car and started crying. My mouth is raw from the X-ray technician. The dentist spent maybe 3 minutes with me, poked quickly and said, “Looks like you just need a cleaning.” I wanted to get in, first appointment since before the pandemic. Aspen breaks your visit into two appointments, check up first, cleaning second. They use three different scanning techniques, and didn’t explain anything of why or show me anything (the last scan is a 3D image of your mouth, why not show the patient??). I have never had issues with the single-shot mouth x-rays, but I was choking and gagging on their very large probe. Thank goodness for the other dental
assistant who noticed my pain/tears and tried to help the first tech. Yes, I am short and have a smaller mouth, but the amount of adjusting and pain….why??? I’ve never experienced that before. The office is also under remodel but that doesn’t explain the chairs with major rips and duct tape covering them.

So no. I will not be going back for a cleaning. That was terrible.

I had an excellent experience! They were so professional and attentive. They were all just so nice to me! Explained everything so I could understand. I would definitely refer to all my family and friends!

Todays visit was amazing. Michael, Liz, and Dr. D are incredible! They answered all of my questions with ease all the way from Dental First to the procedures themselves. Things are becoming so much better in the office and it's great to see! I'll definitely be coming back. Thank you Ithaca Aspen!
