The staff was amazing and courteous. The technicians were gentler in the x-ray process. The hygienist she was also cool and so was the doctor. Was an overall good experience.

scheduling appointment easy an fast, taking right on time for appointment, full service first visit was in fact free-exam-x-rays-consultation, needed and resulted in referral which stopped any work until referral completed. Staff friendly and accommodating, facility convenient but could be updated. This was disappointing. Follow up referral appointment not able to be made until 2 months in future.

Per their recommendation, I arrived 15 minutes prior to my scheduled dental check-up appointment but was not seen until 1.5 hours after. Even then, the x-ray technician was unprofessional and I had to wait during my x-rays as she had other business to attend to. After making it to the patients chair, I was told to wait again until the dentist came in to review my x-rays. Instead of explaining things to me, he spoke to the nurse in technical jargon and prodded my mouth for approximately 2 minutes before leaving. I was asked to wait again, and there seems to have been miscommunication between the staff as to who was supposed to talk to me next. They instead tried to push a few procedures on me, insisting that I was getting a “good deal”. Even though my insurance would cover the majority of the costs, I would not come back here again due to the inefficiencies and ridiculous wait times.

Was pretty unsatisfied. Everyone was friendly, but they seemed a bit unorganized. I ended up sitting in the chair for 30mins waiting for the doc and he didn't come in until I went up to the front desk and asked for him. I also had concerns about the cleanliness. The rooms are a bit in disrepair with exposed insulation, drywall etc... They don't use sterile plastic coverings on touch surfaces so the doc kept putting his hands in my mouth then touch the lamp and stuff, getting my saliva everywhere, then sticking his hands back in my mouth.

I had the best experience at this Aspen . From being greeted at the door, to tooth pulling, to making of dentures to the cost, they were EXCELLENT. I had some formed opinions before going . I felt like I was entering a third world country, I was scared but this was all I could afford. Boy, was I wrong, they gave me beautiful dentures with a perfect fit. I am so happy I went. The doctors and assistants were great. I highly recommend!

Very misleading about what's "free". I called to ask specifically about pricing for a cleaning and was told an exam, X-rays, and cleaning would be covered. I'm new to the area and while I wasn't looking for anything free I was happy to take it.

False. I asked, several times, about whether it would be fully covered and was repeatedly told yes. They do X-rays, and the dentist comes in for a consultation that consisted of him telling me to come back for a cleaning. The cleaning itself is not free (although it's relatively cheap - less than $100). My husband and I walked out without making an appointment; the cleanings may be less expensive but my time is valuable and I was mad we'd been duped. You could not convince nice me they'd been anything other than intentionally misleading. They may be great but I'll never go back to find out.

No one was flat out rude, but it certainly didn't seem like any of the employees were happy to be there.

Also, if you're appointment is at 8, don't show up 15 minutes early as they tell you to. Doors don't open until 8.

Absolutely terrible experience with Aspen dental. I went in with a tooth pain that required a filling. They take an X-ray and determine that I need one cap and 7 fillings and give me an estimate for $6000!

I had to go to another dentist for a reevaluation and I only needed one filling.

It seems like Aspen Dental is only focused on making money without any ethical concern for the patient -- all they needed to escape liability is to look at some low density areas in my teeth (that are probably natural) and determine I need fillings in all of them.

Terrible experience. First visit after being a patient there many years ago. I made an appointment online for a routine teeth cleaning, upon my first visit I was led back to the x-ray area, the room itself was filthy, looked like the floor and walls needed a massive scrub down, and it look like x-ray machine itself was caked in some mystery substance. After my x-rays, I was given a 2 minute oral exam and the dentist told me, bluntly, I had three cavities, with no other explanation.

The receptionist came to retrieve me soon after being brought to the wrong room by the dentist, to bring me to the front again to discuss payment options and to inform me that the next appointment for teeth cleaning was and hour and a half later that day or in three days. Utterly confused, I made another appointment.

Upon arrival for my second appointment, I waited 45 mins, watching everyone else in the waiting room being called in and taken care of. Completely frustrated, I approached the receptionist to reschedule. She ignored me for at least 10 seconds to FINISH THE ARTICLE SHE WAS READING ON HER PHONE, before looking up and addressing me! She did not apologize for the long wait but informed me, begrudgingly, that she would "let the hygienist know," that I was leaving. Needless to say, I did NOT reschedule, and will never go back there.

Update: Been going here for a couple of years now. Staff is always friendly and very thorough. They have strongly recommended work at times that didn't necessarily need to be done, but it was always my choice. Haven't had any surprise toothbrushes show up on the bill like the first time, so maybe they have stopped that practice, or it was a fluke.

Original review: Appointments are easy to get, exam is thorough. Staff is friendly. However I did not appreciate them trying to push a $135 toothbrush on me, but they did take it off my bill.
