My daughter Hannah had her wisdom teeth removed yesterday. The staff was wonderful. They took such good care of her. I highly recommend Northside Family Dentistry.

Staff is very friendly. My problem was the fact that they charge extra for temporary crowns when they have the capability to put in permanent crowns the same day. I had to go back 10 times because the temps kept falling out and I recently had to go back after 3 weeks since the permanent crown was put on to have it put on again.

After going to a local dentist I consider a personal friend and still do who I felt was really experienced and I still have high regards for; but he was unable to solve a problem that I had complained about for 3 cleanings in a row and he failed to address. Because of my respect for my previous dentist I almost waited too late but I called and asked for a consultation with Doctor Shanks. The level of professionalism, cleanliness and attention to detail from the receptionist to the lady who did the initial analysis was impressive. Then when the next staff came in and had all of the x-rays and the technology that they had to explain the problems and how to solve them was something I had never seen before. and I was very impressed with then Dr. Shanks came in and pointed out the exact problems &how to solve them. I had known there was a problem there for two years and was frustrated that my dentist had not address them per my request. Dr. Shanks address them and now I have had the work done and it went better than I could have ever expected😁
I've lived in Crossville for 35 years do most of the dentist's here. And we have some good ones. But to be honest I was blown away with the type of practice that doctor Shanks has built right here in Crossville. I don't believe you could find better service anywhere....

This is a great office to visit. The staff is very knowledgeable and kind. Family oriented and excellent with kids. We have 3 children and they are always excited to visit with my 4 year old always wanting to go first. Well organized and managed office. Dr. Shanks is a great dentist and has a wonderful staff.

Dr shanks and his staff are very professional, helpful, and friendly. Office is super clean, up to date. They have always done their best to accommodate our schedule as we drive an hour one way to his office. I highly recommend them. All the hygienists are excellent as well. Christina did a great job with cleaning my teeth and explaining symptoms/ treatments. Very helpful!
