I had my semi yearly cleaning Monday and was very happy with the way the staff and all the people in the building. Christina Graham was especially informative about my teeth welfare and cleaning. I learned a few things that I wasn’t aware of in my brushing of my teeth and will definitely use these in the future. And of course, it’s always nice to see Dr. Johnny.. hope your arm is fine after your COVID shot!

Myself, my Husband and all our children see Dr. Shanks and his wonderful staff. All his hygienists are amazing. The care and compassion they show is beyond compare. Very knowledgeable about insurance. Dr. Shanks recently did a one on one call with our teens orthodontist to make a plan for the future is her teeth. It's so nice to have an involved Provider and staff. Five stars is not enough.

I can't say enough positive or wonderful things about my dental care at Northside over the past few years. I came to them as a new resident of TN after moving from up North. I, like many others have terrible anxiety and fear since childhood from years of poor dentistry.
I had discussed my fears early on with the staff and was assured my treatments would be as comfortable as possible. And they were. Matter of fact they were so good at making me feel comfortable that I decided to make a big investment in myself!
Dr. Shanks and staff put together a treatment plan and I got the teeth of my dreams and I'm no longer in pain!
I spent probably over 20+ hours over a two month period in the chair! From this amount of time I can tell you the office has fun together and alot of character!
Today I had a cleaning with Christina, and again as I sat in the chair my head was rushed with those childhood fears and Christina asked me if I was ok and I quickly shared my anxiety and she went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. She talked to me the whole time and explained everything she was doing.
And to my surprise I was able to get a few remaining teeth fixed after my cleaning. Miss Skylar was just as sweet and gentle with me. And Dr. Shanks is very talented, soft spoken and polite. It's not often you can go to a dental office where they have state of the art in house technology, great gentle staff and a excellent dentist. I am very happy with my dental care and I love my VANEERS!

I'm a senior citizen who has experienced many different dentists and their staff over many years. None come even close to the wonderful service I have received from Dr Shanks and his staff. I was amazed last year how Dr Shanks was able to replace a broken off front tooth with a bridge...and he made it and put it in the same day!!
I just had my first teeth-cleaning at Northside Family Dentistry and it was the most comfortable one I have ever experienced. I am so thankful I found this great group of people!
