If you have to go to the dentist...go to Northside Family Dentistry. From the time you walk in the front door until the time you leave you won't find a better atmosphere. Dr. Leevy (New Dentist to the office) did a crown for me and it was quick and pain free. Highly recommend this office. Wouldn't go anywhere else.

I’m the first one to admit, that when it comes to any medical practice: I’m hesitant, skeptical, and very picky because it can be life altering. My mom needed immediate care for an impacted, very long-rooted, (hooked into the jaw) wisdom tooth, that was long overdue for removal. I brought her in fully prepared to haul tail out of there if there was any inclination whatsoever of uneasy in my gut. However, every single person we encountered was so extremely kind and professional. Then Dr. Shanks came in and we knew instantly she was in the best hands possible. Incredible bedside manner and willing to answer any questions, while throughly educating you on the entire process. Mom is doing awesome. It’s obvious that their expert level of care is almost unheard of these days and everyone there truly cares about you like family! Our only regret is that we didn’t know them sooner.

I was pleasantly surprised at how well my new crown fit. The staff was attentive and respectful, especially Heidi. Dr. Leavy (SP?) was patient as he worked on me because I struggle to breathe when having dental work done. I still have more work to be done and I feel less anxious about doing that as a result of this experience.

The quality, care and expertise Dr. Shanks and his team provides is phenomenal. I went in about 7 mos ago thinking my wisdom teeth were coming in. Shockingly, my mouth was in a horrible mess from prior sickness and I had no idea. Needless, to say my heart was broke. The compassion he and his team gave were beyond words. They went to work fast on steps and procedures for implants. Precise and perfection in every step along the way. I'm so thankful, I chose Northside Family Dentistry!

This place will overcharge you by 450 dollars. They made me pay 600 prior to the tooth extraction. I was charged for oral surgery and they only gave me 3 days worth of pain meds. If it was really oral surgery which it was not because it only took 2 minutes for the tooth to come out I should have got 2 weeks of pain medicine. My dentist Dr krusa always gave me 2 weeks of medicine even for a simple extraction. If you want to be ripped off and left in pain and treated like your subhuman this is the place to go.
