I only gave one star because it won't allow me to choose ZERO stars!! This is the absolute worst dental practice I have ever been to. The front desk staff was rude and disrespectful, the dental assistants acted like they absolutely hated being there, which I completely understood, and the dentists, I believe, made up problems just to be able to bill my insurance a little extra money. I took my daughter, then a 5th grader, for a cleaning. They told me she had 3 cavities and they needed to fix them that day, but only if I could pay my portion of the bill prior to the start of the procedure. I paid my portion and they started drilling on my daughter's teeth without any type of anesthesia!! Who does that???? When I asked why they weren't administering anesthesia, I was told that the cavities weren't very deep and the drilling wouldn't even get close to a nerve, so she would be fine. When I asked for them to stop drilling and to issue a refund immediately, I was told that I would not get a refund because the procedure had already started. My daughter was a trooper that day. She allowed them to finish the one tooth they started on, but I put a stop to them wanting to do the other 2 teeth. That was 5 years ago, and I've never received a refund for the work they didn't do. I made several calls to their "corporate" office, but they were just as rude and disrespectful as the personnel at their Odessa office. Do yourself a favor and read all the comments, and heed their warnings! Do not subject yourself or your family members to this horrible place!!!

The call center does not have their stuff together, I went in for appointment and there was no evidence of my insurance and no one knew why I was there, thankfully a dental assistant was amazing with helping figure out the problem and getting it fixed. The doctor I am using has also been really accommodating to my schedule for future appointments and getting what I need done.

Dr.Kona was amazing and so patient during my wisdom tooth removal she was also great with my daughter and her filling definitely recommend will be returning 👍🏽

I actually think Familia Dental is great-the front desk could use some customer service lessons and could communicate better but the dental assistants and doctors do a great job!
Dr.Kim was my favorite but she’s no longer there-I’ve used Familia for 4-5 years now
I’ve had two other doctors since Dr.Kim
I went yesterday and the doctor I had was very nice but the dental itself was abnormally painful-I told the assistant. Who was confused as to why because my teeth aren’t in bad shape. I went home later and used my water pick and every tooth gum was bleeding making me think the dental was just too abrasive. I will still use Familia but I do hope they are a bit more careful especially since my gum line (as everyone’s) is receding and you can’t grow it back-the less damage my gums endure the better.
My next appointment in 6 months will be w a different doctor I made sure of it

The girls at the front are nice, however, the doctor or dental assistant didnt even take a few minutes to introduce themselves.. like I get you guys are busy but still, It wasnt a friendly environment in my opinion. It was my first time here and didnt feel welcome at all.

I really hate this place !!! This is my 2nd experience, the only reason I came was because my husband is a patient here ! I came to get elastic bands for his braces & the front people were super rude !! They have no damn manners ! A dark lady with short hair was just making face expressions & she made me sign in just to pick up some elastic bands ! Employees are so damn rude, are they even trained to learn how to greet people. Made me so upset, and I’m pushing my husband to leave this damn place !!!

Very Clean office fast work and done correctly plus the dental assistant Erynn was very kind and made me feel comfortable because i hate dentist appointments would highly recommend !!!
