I agree with this comment it is a fast food dentistry and a rip off!! I went there to have a deep cleaning which in the past it took at least two visits. I was in the chair a total of an hour and 20min. the only thing done was some plaque removal and I left with yellow stained teeth. All this for a discounted rate of $1275.00! Oh! that's after I even bought the dental insurance they peddled! Stay away from this place unless you throw your money in the garbage! I'd of been better off with false teeth. If your new in town watch out! I didn't want to give it one star but I couldn't post otherwise.

My experience with My Dentist has been the WORST dental experience I have ever had!

I had a small chip repaired on my front tooth & I had my top wisdom teeth removed.

9/17/18 First Visit - I had the receptionist contact my insurance to verify that the exam would be covered before being seen. I was told that it would be covered and all I would have to pay is $20 for fluoride since its not covered by my insurance. I had no issues paying that. The exam went well, I was told my teeth looked good. Scheduled the apt to have my wisdom teeth removed and the chip repaired.

10/1/18 Procedure - I once again verified that both procedures would be covered by insurance. I paid $35 for Nitro so I would be sedated during the procedure. Totally fine with paying that. Was told everything else was covered.

I sat in the chair with the Nitro mask on for what felt like 45 minutes to an hour. I don't even remember Dr.Duffy numbing me. I suddenly snapped back to reality when he was removing my top right tooth. I started to cry because I was in so much pain. I have a high pain tolerance, but this HURT and I could hear crackling when he was pulling. He was able to remove it quickly. When removing the tooth on the right side I had to tell him to stop because of the pain.

At that point he moved on to repairing the small chip in my front tooth. I wasn't able to view it during the procedure. Very little time was spent fixing the chip, it seemed to be very rushed.

He went back to removing my right tooth and I almost crawled out of the seat due to the pain level.... I had my bottom wisdom teeth removed when I was 16 by my previous dentist without a problem and I was less sedated then. That didn't compare to the pain I felt when he was removing my top wisdom teeth.

I drove myself home after the procedure without a problem. Was given pain meds, no antibiotics.

10/7/18 I had a bad taste in my mouth and still saw swelling. My molar was also broken during the procedure and the chip was still visible! Tried to call, couldn't get through. Messaged them through Facebook with concern of infection and was told I would get a call.
I never received a follow up call...

10/22/18 I get a letter from insurance stating they couldn't cover the full amount due it being ran as out of network. They said I owed over $380! I have a $1,000 benefit per yr on my insurance, I only pay a deductible for out of network visits & was told by MyDentist TWO times that they were in-network. I also got a bill through MyDentist stating I owed them $248.40... I called them right away and the lady over the phone stated 'We have signs in our office saying we only give insurance 'estimates'. ' WHAT AN EXCUSE AND WAY TO PUSH PEOPLE OFF. This wasn't a small difference. Glad I know what my insurance covers. I then made a visit to MyDentist after calling my insurance. Dr.Duffy had paperwork in circulation to be in-network but was previously out of network. They thought it would run through as in-network but I wasn't informed until I got the bills.

That $248 bill they sent me turned out to be $50 since 40% of removing an impacted tooth wasn't cover. I had no problem paying the $50 because that was correct. I was told that $50 was ALL I OWED. They also did a free post op visit to look at my molar. They tried to say that its normal for fillings to eventually break, the filling in that molar is still there, the actual tooth was broken when the doctor was removing the tooth next to it. My molar is still broke!

11/18/18 I get ANOTHER BILL from MyDentist for $181. I just went to their office on 11/20/18. Again the lady tried to fall back on their signs and then tried to tell me that my insurance would charge me a $300 deductible per year no matter what? How many excuses can you make?
I didn't leave until they called my insurance, turns out the issue I had on 10/22 was never taken care of, it just showed I made a payment of $50 on the $248 they tried to tell me I owed. The $181 dismissed - their fault!

Don't recommend going here. If you don't care that your Dentist is different every year and being lied to poor management, realy nice girls working there hope they have job security an benefits. Office manager was rude an don't care about patients. Lied to an forced to go elsewhere after paying for services in advance don't ever pay till you are satisfied here.
Worst dental experience ever.! Don't bother calling back they don't need a second chance this place is a big joke. Now I have to go to another dentist to finish an already paid My Dentist for services dig mistake on my part for paying in advance.🤯

The staff is very friendly and helpful. All my questions were answered in full and other information was supplied that I hadn't thought of. The facility is very clean and comfortable and the Dr and Technicians always wore gloves during treatment.
