So happy I've chosen them as my new dentist! Upon making an appointment, Bobby was prompt in following up with me regarding some insurance stuff and outlined everything I needed to know before I got there. I arrived a little early and they were able to bring me inside immediately. Liz at the front desk was very nice. Gloria, the dental assistant, was very sweet. They explained what I was seeing in my teeth photos/x-rays, which was very informative and helpful. Dr. Ertle was very nice too and eager to address any concerns I had. Checkout was smooth and they're taking great precautions regarding Covid-19. Very good experience with excellent, kind staff! :)

This is a great dental office! You feel like you are part of the Laurelwood family as soon as you are greeted upon walking in by the front desk. I always leave feeling as though I had a very thorough cleaning experience. They also use top notch technology and up to date dental practices. The staff is always very friendly and professional. He environment is clean and relaxing. They are also very accommodating if you need to bring your young kiddos-- my daughter got to watch her favorite show on the screen in my room while I had my teeth cleaned-- this was a true relief of anxiety for me to bring my four year old with me on my dental appointment. Thank you!

Dr. Ertl is a consummate professional, gentle and personable. His staff is friendly and kind. Always the latest technology, which saves time, money and is amazing, to boot - I needed a crown, he was able to 3D print it perfectly and put it in during the same appointment!
Frankly, this office is inconvenient for me, but they are so good it’s worth the trip! Honest, I cannot recommend this Dentistry highly enough. I’ve been a patient for more than 8 years and will be for life; best I’ve ever had.

I have been a loyal patient to Dr Ertl for over 8 years and he has always treated me with professionalism and respect for my dental needs. His staff is always friendly and they always ensure that you are comfortable and feel at ease from the most simple of cleanings to the most complex of dental needs. He and his staff were patient with the process of bridge work that I had done. They were accommodating on a holiday to see me to make revisions. I really appreciate Gloria and Dahlia's assistance with the procedure. They do excellent work and have the best intentions for their patients.

Dr Ertl is the best, he does cancer screenings which are very important. His hygienists are very knowledgeable and thorough. I never leave disappointed. The whole office atmosphere is kind and inviting. ❤️

Laurelwood Family Dentistry is fantastic! They are very professional and friendly, and provide a high level of dental service! Hannah cleaned my teeth and by far this was the most thorough cleaning I have ever received!
I also recently had a specialized procedure done by Dr. Ertl and his assistant, Gloria, and they did a great job while keeping it brief and painless!.
I highly recommend them for your dental needs!

The team at Laurelwood is so fantastic. I am greeted by name at the door by the lovely receptionist. The hygienist is brilliant in getting my teeth so clean without making me jump out of the chair from my SUPER sensitive teeth. Dr. Urtl listens to all of my concerns (including how to most efficiently navigate insurances so I get the most care for my money). They exceed my expectations is every way. I know they have nothing but my best interests at heart, and I LOVE how I feel like family there!

I've been pleased with this office over the course of four to five visits for my family and myself. I was especially impressed Dr. Ertel is not afraid to refer out work to other dentists in the area who might be better suited for the particular patient. Wait time is minimal and billing is not a pain. Everyone seems happy to be at work.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. The dental work is fine, but dealing with insurance and payment negates the entire experience. First, when making my appointment, I asked the staff to confirm they take Cigna insurance which I was told 2x yes. I went for patient preventative care, regular check up - would normally be covered at 80-100% by insurance standards. During my visit I had a small possible cavity. They scheduled me to the following week to have that filled. The staff gave me a quote for service. Ok, fine. So far, I was grateful I found a good practice. Went for my filling, paid the expected out of pocket cost and went about my biz. One month later, I receive my bill. Eh, ok. So, the office staff is *kind enough to resubmit the claim on my behalf. Spoke to Bobby Scott 2x to understand the problem and looks like insurance covered my filling but not the preventative service. Bobby stated “looks odd” Assuming that the practice takes Cigna, yeah, I’d agree. Bobby Scott tells me that it’ll take roughly 15-30 days to see the claim reprocess. Ok. One month later, receive another bill. Not adjusted. Call Bobby Scott. He states these bills are auto generated. Practice is waiting on insurance response. Bobby was still waiting on response. He told me to hold off payment. Fast forward 12/23. Another bill comes. I call and speak to Michelle who pulls up my records and says the claim has been resubmitted again. She could see the back and forth and stated that SHE would follow up with me in the New Year, the office is closed until the 4th. Ok, great. So *kind.
Letter received January 15th - I’VE BEEN SENT TO COLLECTIONS! What?!#% I’ve been in touch with the office staff non-stop since the first bill. I call the office to pay the bill, figured I’d submit myself to reimbursed. Nope, per Michelle, Bobby Scott is no longer with the practice AND, I need to deal with collections. Wow! This is how you do business. I had NO problem paying the bill. Called to pay a couple times. Was told NOT TO AND TO WAIT for claim to process. I’m beside myself. I called collections to pay - because I’m not ignoring this because I’m a responsible human - and collections doesn’t have my claim. Eh, ok. I call Cigna to try to sort this out, speak to a rep who confirms that Laurelwood Family Dentistry has NOT been contracted with Cigna since 2015!!!! Oh, ok. 100% bait and switch. Do not go here. Or if you do, do not trust the staff to check insurance for you. Do this yourself. Shame on me for not doing this. I’ll take responsibility for that but shame on LFD for the misleading info and guidance from the jump. There are many other practices that offer great care and the back office is actually *KIND without taking advantage of their patients.

New patient to Laurelwood, and first impression was amazing, the staff are so pleasant, personable, and professional. Very knowledgeable when asking questions and accommodating when it comes to scheduling appointments. Definitely would recommend.
