What an awesome Adult Dentist! Took me right in, made a plan to reach my goals and at the same time they were very attentive to my lack of pain tolerance. Can't say enough about John and Natalie and their family of Professionals.

I had my initial visit with NorthStar Dentistry yesterday and have only good things to say!
My exam and consultation with Dr. Bunn was thorough and not rushed. I was allowed ample time to express my concerns and ask questions. His assistant, Jasmine was most helpful acclimating me to the office and making me comfortable. Kelli at the front desk was also helpful and welcoming.
And who doesn't love a dental practice that has a sweet therapy dog!

Beautiful office, extremely friendly staff, Dr. Merrill is extremely personable and I had the most comprehensive dental visit in my lifetime! Dr. Merrill checked my glands, under my tongue for cancer, my bite, jaw alignment, and dictated notes on every tooth in my mouth! Dr. Merrill took personal interest in getting to know me and found we had a common interest in wine so he sent me home with a bottle of wine too! The office mascot is his beloved dog Steve who took a liking to me and spent the entire office visit on my lap while I was getting a crown! This is undoubtedly the best dental office I have ever been to!!!

I am so happy to have chosen Northstar and Dr Merrill as my dentist. The office is warm and comfortable.
Dr Merrill is very kind and caring. He explained everything he wanted to do to improve my dental health. He is gentle and concerned about my comfort.
His assistant Heather is perfect. They are the best team.
The ladies at the front office are so helpful. They explain charges, if insurance will pay and give you options.
I can’t leave without saying how much I love Stevie. What a wonderful support dog. He has sat in my lap as I had work done.
I would recommend Dr Merrill and his fabulous staff to everyone.

This is the best dental practice that I’ve ever been to and I can’t say enough good things about Dr Merrill, Dr Bunn, Amber and the front desk staff. Kind, helpful, patient and genuine! It’s evident that they really care about the health of your teeth. I had the best teeth cleaning with Amber in which she was very thorough and after took the time to explain everything going on with my teeth and suggestions. Dr Merrill also did a thorough exam/assessment of my teeth and made recommendations for the future. The front desk staff went above and beyond to follow up with my insurance to make sure my other services were covered and they are always warm and welcoming when I visit. I would highly recommend and I’m glad I found them!

Best experience I've ever had with a dental office! The whole office was very attentive. My dental hygienist Jillian was great. She worked very well and made sure to explain every detail during the process. Dr. Merrill made you feel like family. The whole team works very well together. Once again, I was very satisfied with this experience!

Super friendly, helpful and accommodating. They do a fabulous job every time :) I've had Dr. Bunn for regular cleanings, filling replacements, bonding, and a crown. I've been very happy with all the work he has done! They helped me plan out visits to replace old fillings, and are always very upfront with pricing. I moved to SC and I still drive to Huntersville to go to Dr. Bunn.

North Star dentistry is the best experience I’ve ever had going to the dentist. The staff was very friendly and inviting. Amber made me feel right at home and did such a phenomenal job cleaning my teeth. I also liked how knowledgeable both she and Dr.Bunn were about all my questions and concerns. I highly recommend!

Great environment and music. I’m always nervous when I have a dental procedure. Amber & Jazmine made me feel very comfortable and relaxed. The Dr B gave me sound diagnosis and was very clear on what procedure I needed. Glad we were recommended to this office. Hope to be a life long patient.

I have never been to a dentist office like this! Absolutely out of this world! The staff is friendly and Dr Merrill makes you feel like you are his only patient. Not to mention he bakes fresh bread sometimes and will gift it to you. 🥰 Best dentist Ever!!!
