All of the staff was wonderful! They offered a parrafin wax hand treatment while I got my teeth cleaned...why not? I accepted and it was a great way to relax! I also received a hot towel at the end of my visit to refresh! Amber was super amazing! She was very friendly and knowledgable and Dr. Merrill was very professional and pleasurable to speak with! I was recommended to this place by my husband and when I left, I knew why he was super happy with referring me. Above and beyond, friendly service in a no pressure atmosphere! I would highly recommend them to anyone! P.S. My hands still feel amazing from the wax treatment! Keeping rocking out Northstar and thank you for my goodie bag!!!

Everything!! A very classy office and wonderful staff. Very personable and professional. They not only know how to treat you as a patient but as a person. This place is the best. I don't normally need a lot of dental work, but needed a crown fixed from where an adult never came in. Love this everything about this experience from the door to the room to the cleaning, to the bridge read replacement! Top notch all around. Highly recommend this place!!

This was a referral from a coworker, so when I went in the office I expected my normal routine visit. What I got was completely different. This by far has been the best dental experience I have ever had. The staff is pleasant, the office is very nice, and the dentist is amazing. They explain things to me like no one else has ever done. This will be my home!

I have had a long history of dental work, the vast majority, negative experiences. When I recently broke a tooth, and went to visit Dr Merrill, I explained my poor past experiences, and my anxiety regarding the repair currently needed. Dr Merrill and his staff actually heard my concerns, and took the time to view XRays and talk through treatment plans, before putting any kind of equipment into my mouth. When they determined how my tooth needed to be repaired, they explained it thoroughly, and only proceeded when I was comfortable with it. This was by far the most positive experience I have ever had at a Dental office, and through their focus on my comfort, it was the absolute minimum of pain. They are genuinely enthusiastic about the opportunity they have to improve my smile and dental health, and I am confident they are 100% focused on my comfort and satisfaction. I am just as enthusiastic in my opinion of them and their services.

My husband and I are new to the Huntersville area and looked online for dentists with good reviews. I chose NorthStar Dentistry because of the amazing reviews and thorough website.
Today I had my first cleaning and appointment with Dr Merrill. I was blown away! The staff was the friendliest of any healthcare office I have ever been in (and i work in healthcare).

On top of the A-plus treatment the professionalism was also outstanding. The hygienist Amber was so thorough, took her time and my teeth are the cleanest they have ever felt. She was very knowledgeable and shared a lot of info that was helpful to my understanding.

Dr Merrill was so thorough in his evaluation for my first visit. Much of the evaluation he performed I had never had before. He explained everything and made sure any and all questions were answered.

I highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for a super knowledgeable, professional and friendly practice.

Seriously, the absolute BEST experience I've ever had with a dental appointment. Haleigh (front desk) was super friendly and very informative. Jillian is an absolute rock star; she is helpful, patient, attentive, and so so sweet. I ALWAYS take a long time during a cleaning because I frequently pause for breaks due to sensitivity. I did ask Jillian one time for a break only because my jaw was tired and she quickly came to my rescue with an apparatus to alleviate the tension- incredible! Dr. Merrill was down to Earth and genuinely concerned about how he could best serve his patients. I cannot say enough about this practice!!!

Dr Merrill and his team are top notch. From administration to assistants to hygienists, everyone was so friendly and professional. I like asking questions about my care and Dr Merrill and his team left nothing unanswered. It's clear the staff here aims for a high standard of care. I've found my new dentist!

First visit to Northstar. From the minute I came in the door I walked into a lovely, calm, friendly and professional office. My follow-up visit two days later was a repeat experience. Exceptional treatment experience combined with great, down to earth people! Highly recommended.

It was my first visit to NorthStar, and my whole experience was incredible. I had a lot of things to get done, and the staff didn’t hesitate to do it with a smile. Amber was my hygienist, and she was so thorough and helpful. She answered all my questions. I will be returning next week for some more dental work, and I know I will be in good and honest hands.
