I've had the pleasure of seeing Dr. John Merrill for a few years now. He's a fantastic dentist that has a wealth of knowledge and experience. Amber is my hygienist and she's wonderful too. Personally, I really appreciate their dental savings plan for patients without dental insurance. I highly recommend NorthStar Dentistry for Adults for all of your dental and oral health needs!

Dr. Merrill and his staff are wonderful!! Dr. Merrill takes plenty of time to listen and is very engaging. The staff are a delight and it's obvious they enjoy making you happy. I had a cavity filled and it was actually a wonderful experience. I was very comfortable throughout and they kept me relaxed and pain free. I'm glad Dr. Merrill is my Dentist!

i came in for my regular scheduled cleaning. Dr Merrill and the staff are amazing, friendly, professional, and the best at what they do.

I also had the opportunity to meet Steve the office's new therapy dog. He is absolutely amazing. He will make anyone instantly feel at ease if they are feeling any anxiety about a procedure they come in for. Request him!

I’ve had dental anxiety for my entire life and have avoided getting the work I needed done. I decided to give Dr Merrill a try by the recommendation of various friends and it was THE BEST CHOICE. His staff (Natalie and Michelle) are so supportive and kind. Dr Merrill is a great listener and truly went above and beyond to make my experience go well. I can say for the first time EVER I had pain free fillings done today, I literally cried happy tears! Thank you to Dr Merrill & Natalie for providing such wonderful care today.

The experience at every level is spot on each and every time. The administrative staff is always efficient and friendly. The hygienists are thorough and make suggestions to impact your entire well-being. Today’s visit was by far the best. I have never been so relaxed for a dental procedure; the replacement of two fillings. It was completely pain free and quick! Of course, the office’s newest addition, a therapy dog, Steve helped!

I highly recommend that you come here for your dental needs and if you should have adult children that may have some special needs rest assured you have come to the right place. They are approximately named. I Googled North Star and found out that it is the brightest star in the constellation. Now imagine your smile looking this way after you have completed your treatment plan. Please be sure at the time of your visit to take the time to look at the before and after photos of previous patients. No dental insurance 🤔. I recommend that you look into their Family Plan. Their dedicated staff including Dr. Steve (the physical therapy dog) all work together to lead, guide, council, and comfort you throughout the whole experience. NorthStar Denistry depicts a beacon of inspiration and hope to many and they treat you like family. You will be pleasantly surprised by the unexpected blessings that you’ll receive that will just warm your hearts.

I contacted NorthStar to schedule and appointment. I was told they had a lot of patients to check out and if I didn't mind they would call me back to schedule. That sounded understandable so I gladly agreed. They never called back. I figured stuff happens so the next day I called again. As soon as they answered they put me on hold without a chance to say a word. I waited....and waited. After 15 minutes on hold I decided to start searching for another dentist and see if I could find better before they returned to the call. Luckily, 20 minutes later I did and they still had not returned to the call. They get one star because google forces me and because I am grateful that they showed their lack of patient care prior me actually scheduling and appointment which encouraged me to look elsewhere.

Every aspect of this office and experience has been thought of to make dental visit a positive one. Every staff member is so nice and accommodating. Both dentist are personable and honest. Prices good, they don’t do any extra that is not required for your teeth’s health.

What a wonderful experience I had today! This was my first visit to NorthStar Dentistry. The office itself is beautiful. The staff is friendly and very helpful. Dr. Merrill performed the most thorough exam I've ever had by a dentist. My teeth look great thanks to Jillian. Very happy with my decision to change dental practices.
