My trip to the dentist started out great. When I got to the office I was pleased with how much the receptionist helped me with the paper work and my insurance. I believe her name is Jess. She knew exactly what my insurance was and who needed to be contacted to get the correct information. I then waited over 45 minutes to be seen. I know some things happen here and there but 45 minutes??? When I went up to ask how much longer I noticed the other receptionist sitting at her desk with her feet plopped up on the garbage can and cell phone in hand. That was a red flag to me. I thought is there any way these people can care about their patients. The assistants helped me out a lot but the news I had got is not what I wanted to hear. Kudos to Karen she was/is a great assistant. I feel like this place is money hungry and everything I was told to have done was not right. It is also very alarming when one receptionist is willing to help and the other who I believe is Raleigh?, sat their and continued on her phone. She was on it from the time I walked in the door until the time I left. Needless to say the place is a joke and I will NOT be coming back. I went to my dentist the next day and he was shocked at the amount of work your doctor told me I had to have done. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND this place to anyone. Thank you

This is the worst dentist I've seen. She didn't use the strong oragel to numb me before she stuck a 4inch needle in my jaw. My first time there I had an appointment scheduled for 1 o'clock and wasn't seen until 3. Then I called there emergency line and no one answered on a Saturday. The day of my extraction they didn't give me pain medicen and I had to have them call it in and it wasn't strong enough. Then she said "today is the only day it will hurt. Tomorrow you won't feel any pain at all" that was a 100% lie to my face. Do not go there!!! Horrible dentist

Had the best experience here today. I needed to get all three kids seen and myself. All four of us were in and out in an hour and a half. The hygienist even talked to my children while cleaning my teeth. So grateful for such a great experience today thank you!

Great. Visit with state college aspen dental the team was on point. Very speedy but very very personal made me feel right at home. Checked on my teeth and did a hygiene check for tarter buildup. Cleaning. And all. Best dental visit

No problems whatsoever. I honestly prefer this dental place than the ones located in downtown State College. I'd recommend this place to anybody without a doubt :)

I am thrilled to have found Aspen Dental and wish I had done so years ago. In Nov 2015 I purchased an upper partial denture for $4,500 from another State College dental group. It came with a full "no questions asked" warranty. Unfortunately, when the denture cracked a few weeks ago, I could not find the paperwork, and when I went to the dental group for help, they refused to provide me with a copy of the contract or to honor the warranty. They instead made a hasty, inferior repair to the crack (for which I was charged $200!) which came apart within a week, and then refused to fix that. I then called Aspen Dental, who repaired the denture perfectly (I can't even tell where it was cracked) for $150 and further assured me, if I ever need a new denture, their top-of-the-line model averages about $1,500 and that comes with a 7-year unlimited warranty. And the staff are lovely, friendly, kind people - an added incentive.

I had to come in for an emergency appointment as a new patient. They moved my appointment for a meter day to the same day, and I was in and out within an hour. The staff was very friendly and reassuring.

They took a very long time for a check up. I think I waited more than I was seen. At the end they tried to sell me some special cleaning for $1700 copay. Then they offered a cleaning for $ 240 when it's listed as free on my insurance.

Worst experience ever!
Me and my husband went to Aspen dental more than a year ago for a check up and cleaning. They chipped my front tooth while doing that, so I called them and went back. They didn’t even offer to do that for free since it was their fault in the first place. It was chipped just a little bit, but enough to not be happy with my smile. They did the worst job, my tooth wasnt smooth at all, and it started breaking piece by piece, so I decided to go to another dentist. This dentist showed me pictures through the microscope that there was a piece of thread embedded in my tooth from their attempt to fix the chip.
At the same time they overcharged my husband for his cavity fix. After promising to refund it, we never received a check.
