I visited several oral health professionals and my decision was hard. You were great. I loved that you all were to the point and gave me an overview of my oral health, as others did, unlike my primary dentist of 25+ years. I never knew that I could have such a comprehensive overview of my oral health. For me, it came down to personal preference. I would have liked to have met your oral surgeon. Your monetary quote was slightly higher than the other oral health professionals' quotes. Perhaps I did not asked the right questions, but you were very impressive. I thank you for being straight forward and supplying me with information that concurred with the other oral professionals which whom I consulted. I would definitely recommend you. Annie Pletcher

The front desk staff can be unreliable sometimes. I had an appointment at 3:30 pm one day, but I couldn't see the dentist until 4:15 pm! When I talked to the nurse about this, she told me that the people responsible about setting up the appointments usually overbook, leaving no appropriate time for each patient.
P.S. when I tried to express my annoyance towards this problem to staff member who sets the appointments, it was very clear that there are No serious intentions to fix anything!

Nice place to go, got a specialty cleaning done. The only thing I disliked was that the young woman cleaning my teeth didn't give a play by play on what she was doing to me. It definitely would have been a 5 star experience if I had known what was going on inside my mouth and know when I might feel some discomfort at certain times.

I had to complete a form with basic medical care information for the second time as they could not find my previous record. After waiting 45 minutes I was admitted for x-rays and noticed that my last name was mis-spelled; perhaps this was why my record was not initially found.
I entered for x-rays and cleaning at 7am. I left at 9:30am. I consider this to be an excessive amount of time to be treated. All care providers were professional, prompt and answered my questions during treatment. I was very pleased with the care I received; I am very dissatisfied with the office management and scheduling as I spend the vast majority of my 2.5 hours waiting for care.

This is an OK place to get routine checkups. But beware the dentist is often in a rush when doing your fillings and you will have to come back to get the job done right. They also jump at the opportunity to fill cavities that many other dentists would just keep and eye on.
Be prepared for them to try and sell you expensive rinses and toothpastes on top of your cleaning. These probably aren't covered by your insurance and are cheaper on ebay. The billing person is a joke. The first estimate I signed off on was for $400 and when the service was half done they wanted to claim everything was going to cost $1600. I had to spoon feed them the amounts my insurance would cover.
Save yourself a headache and go to a different dentist if you have any choice. If you can't do that, be prepared for the type of battle you would have with a car salesman.

ASPEN DENTAL 🦷 is convenient, innovative, efficient, clean, upstanding, and cost efficient. Honestly, I felt important there, and the environment is a nice one. They are intuitive and do a very good job of caring for a person’s teeth, AND the person. I honestly had such a fabulous time there it made the rest of my day better!! I definitely recommend their innovative efficient approaches.

Going to the dentist is ALWAYS a miserable experience. It's just different levels of bad, right? There is no way that any dentist rating could ever be above an "It's okay" because "Liked it" is literally impossible. Keep that in mind when reading all the reviews.
Aspen is professional, clean and well staffed - immediately making it one of the best in this town filled with old, ratty mom & pop practitioners. Extra bonus... you can make appointments online! Welcome to the modern age SC!

A very professional dental team. Both the Dentist and the Dental Assistant were excellent. The insurance treatment plan costs were printed out with no wait time. The costs of this office are very reasonable. Thank you Aspen Dental.

I had radiation treatment for tongue cancer. I did not want any x-rays, nor receive any more x-rays except for life-threatening situations, as per the instructions from my radiation treatment doctor. Aspen Dental REFUSED to do an oral examination (routine) unless I had X-Rays. I informed them that I do not currently have any pain, no "issues" with my teeth, that I just need a routine check-up. They kept insisting on doing x-rays. Then when I agreed because I wanted the check-up, they still did not examine me. Aspen said that because I agreed to the x-rays but told them if there were any complications because of the x-rays they insisted on, I would pursue them for violating my desire no NOT have x-rays. So, either way then, no examination. I had the cancer center send them a letter stating that I should not receive any x-rays the next day via fax. I called them, and after having to wait 10 minutes for them to "confirm" they received the fax, they said that the dentist did not feel "comfortable" doing an examination. I told them I that I also did not want this particular dentist, Kranthi Rupanagunta, to do the examination. They said they will have a new dentist starting next week, and that they will talk to him and see if he is willing to do an examination. Gee, let me sit here on pins and needles awaiting his decision. This is not how to treat a customer or handle an issue with a person recovering from radiation treatment. I always thought the PATIENT can determine whether or not to receive additional radiation. Instead, apparently they think they can solely determine what is necessary for a routine dental exam. If I could give them zero stars, I would, but you need at least 1 in order to write a review. They talk out both sides of their mouth at the same time. Stay away.
