I went to Aspen Dental because of a broken wisdom tooth. I was absolutely terrified due to horrible experiences with dentists in the past. Dr. Alexander and his assistant Tiffany were AMAZING!! They calmed my fears and had the broken tooth out in a jiffy! Somehow they made the entire process fun! Thank you all so much for great customer service and caring hearts!

Thank you so much Dr. Alexander and Tiffany!!

I went through the weekend suffering from bad tooth discomfort. We saw the sign on the door of the clinic with contact information, and I called Monday morning. I spoke to a man who was very helpful in getting me an appointment for an evaluation that morning in Millington TN. That was fine because I had to start somewhere in trying to get some relief. I had xrays, saw a hygienist, and the the doctor. They came up with a game plan that made sense, but I thought I would have to come back another day. However, I was allowed to come back after lunch that day to get the immediate help with the problems causing my pain. I greatly appreciate Dr. Bird and staff, taking care of my immediate needs, and will soon set up an appointment for further dental needs. Thank You So Much, Rickie LeFevre

Fast, friendly, and professional. They were able to accommodate me within 24 hours for an extraction. Felt comfortable and felt no pain. A great place for your emergency dental needs.

First bridge wasn't set right, it took a cpl of months and a new dentist to get it right. However the second bridge and crowns don't match my natural teeth color. So my front teeth look dingy and yellowish. This office has a very high staff turn over, so no one seems to know what's going on when you check in. They are horrible at communicating procedures! Had my mouth numbed and then the dentist changed her mind about treatment and asked me to reschedule. 🤷‍♀️... its really expensive too, and the estimate they give isn't even ballpark.

The Millington office staff was very professional and courteous... up to a point. Having not been to the dentist in four years, I was seriously impressed with the current technology of digital x-rays and 3D imagery. But, let's start with the red flags.

1st Red Flag: My insurance required me to select my dentist... not the office... the dentist. I was seen by someone other than whom I researched and selected. I was informed the person I selected owns the Millington practice, but only works out of his Jackson practice.

2nd Red Flag: This happened when I was directed to finance. My routine cleaning didn't happen. I was given a treatment plan for periodontitis which included a deep cleaning to the tune of $1000 out of pocket. They wanted a down payment before they would even book the appointment.

3rd Red Flag: The young lady in financing flat out lied to me when she told me my "insurance covered quite a lot of the procedure!" When I pointed out to her the itemized estimate showed "Insurance Benefit $88" means my insurance is only paying for $88, and "Insurance Discount" of over $1200 means that's what was knocked off the original price, she doubled down in her insistence my insurance was paying the lion's share. Nevermind my son-in-law works in the insurance industry and I know the difference in definitions between discount and benefit.

4th, final, and coup-de-grâce of Red Flags: I left without booking the $1000 deep cleaning. When I called two days later to book a regular cleaning, I was informed once a diagnosis of periodontitis was made, they had to do the deep clean. To which I asked, "So, you're telling me you're refusing service unless I get the deep cleaning?" The young lady on the phone answered in the affirmative.

I was warned to stay away from Aspen Dental as they value their extremely profitable business plan model over genuine patient care. I'm not against anyone making a buck. I'm not against them making obscene profits. What I am against is a business plan where in practice refuses requested services by patients in favor of overall profits. Why spend time on the guy whi is only getting us $88 with his insurance when we can get $1000, right?

Hard pass. You're fired.

My wife took her mother to have two teeth pulled & they were very pleased with the staff there. From the front desk to the Dentist herself, everything was Great! We recommend them to anyone & everyone!

Went in for a broken tooth had someone come to exam my teeth. Planed our what needed to be done with my teeth but DID NOT look at or exam my broken tooth, the reason I went in to begin with. Waited over an hour to see the Financial Aid to go over their plan for my teeth which was going to cost a pretty good amount. Got home and had some questions about this plan called Aspen Dental to speak with the financial person, she was at lunch asked if she would be able to call me back they told me yes but here it is 11:30 the next day and no one has called me back and still had no one look at my tooth! The main reason I went in for to begin with. Looking for a better Dentist who will listen to patient and take care of what needs to be taken care of first and foremost not there plan on what they want to do.

DO NOT USE ASPEN DENTAL...It has been a year since my wife went in to have two crowns done. The dentist cracked one tooth which caused us to have to have an implant done (5 thousand dollars.). She still doesn't have the implant done. She has had to move to the Bartlett office and now she has had to drive to Jackson to get this finished. Communication is nonexistent. They truly don't care about their patients. You would get better service from a used car dealer.

Aspen dental has great service. Dentist Carlos Alexander is excellent and very talented.

Had a broken bottom left molar and a broken upper molar on the same side. It took the dentist maybe 10-15 minutes tops to extract both. The staff and dental team were very courteous and explained everything in detail. Thank you Aspen.
