The receptionist told me there would be a wait of 30 minutes and there were 3 patients in front of me. I waited over 2 hours and watched about 15 patients get taken back. When I left and called to explain I was upset, she told me "I told you there would be a wait." :( I took off one whole day of teaching to get my hurt tooth looked at for nothing.

Communication amongst the staff members is nonexistent! I received a call that the appointment (that was made 4 monthes ago) was double booked and I was going to have to reschedule for the next week at the same time. When I called back I was told that the receptionist didn't call it must have been someone from the office but there was no afternoon appointments. I WILL NOT be returning to ASPEN DENTAL. I have heard nothing good about the Millington TN office.

I got a tooth extraction back in December. I had it paid for beforehand and I paid for my exam and all that. A month later they try to Bill me for $162, which is really crazy to me because I already paid them. Smh. I called and addressed the issue and the lady told me the charge would be removed. I am appalled that they even tried to Bill me again for something that was already paid for. Be very careful going here. They seem money hungry.

Price gouging at its finest.
The only issue is their billing. If you need an extraction, unless it is one of the front few teeth they charge surgical extraction across the board, no matter what. Premolars simple pull is billed 297 for surgical extraction. When asked they said they bill ALL the back teeth as surgical, period. Surgical extraction when asked is anything they have to section the tooth, cut the bone, or gum.....surgical stuff. So when I asked then why charge surgical if it was a simple pull, again that any tooth except front, k9, eye teeth are surgical period. Plus they quoted and want to charge almost 1000 for a freaking cleaning. I don’t mind paying for a surgical extraction if that is the actual needed treatment, but I am not ok with paying for a service I am not getting. You wouldn’t go to a resteraunt and pay for a Tbone when you are getting a hamburger just because it’s beef. The dentist are excellent and the staff was nice but their pricing scale is scewed to hit you hard. You will pay twice as much for their services as you would anywhere else. I will not go to them again simply due to their price gouging.

There was no communication as to my teeth being cleaned and then ( without my knowledge) an appointment was made for the next day. I was not told what medication I was being perscribed or what the med. was for. I was not told that had have an appointment set up for me in June. (Which I have to cancel so because I will not be available in June). I am pleased with the time that I have in tbe chair but the level of communication between the office staff and the patient needs to improve.
