Dr J and her staff are fantastic. Always friendly and professional. Dr J even FaceTimed with me during the height of Covid when my crown broke, Then met me in the office the next day, even though they were closed. Would recommend her to all.

My experience at Serene Dentistry was wonderful! 3 years prior I took a major fall and broke three upper teeth, I have met with six other dentists about what my options were and the affordability, but I was never able to get them permanently fixed. When I went to Serene Dentistry regarding this issue, Dr. Jayashree Jayachandran not only took the time to explain each and every step in the process but the staff was friendly and amazing! They were able to work with my tight schedule and my budget. Now I have amazing teeth for my upcoming wedding and I couldn't be happier! I will go to Serene Dentistry for all of my future dental work and will recommend them to anyone in the Dallas area. Fancy new building with friendly and helpful counter staff. Everything else about this place sucks. I went in to get a tooth filled. She did the exam with very fancy equipment and was STILL unable to determine whether or not my tooth could be filled ($90 cost), or if I had to have a crown (which would have costed me an extra $900 out of pocket AFTER Cigna dental Insurance!). I definitely felt like both the dentist and hygienist were more focused on getting extra money out of me and my insurance Company rather than taking care of me as a customer. The dentist was being very vague and kept saying that she wasn't sure if she could fill my tooth. Then she said that I needed to schedule another appointment later that day to go forward with any treatment/operation (How many appointments do I need to make before they can help me? I'm there now. Help me now!). They ended up turning me away saying they couldn't help fill my tooth. I said forget it and walked out and asked a buddy for advise. He said to try Trident family dentistry in Dallas off of Forest Ln. I make an appointment the evening before. Literally in and out in an hour and 5 mins with an exam, x-rays, a cleaning, and my tooth filled no problem for $75 after my Insurance. The dentist took one look at my tooth in question as was absolutely sure it could be filled no problem. It was an absolute dream compared to the nightmare I had just experienced at Serene the day before.

Omg! I'm totally upset and shaken up right now due to a conversation I just had with the receptionist. Based on theses reviews, I felt the need to look no further for a great dentist. My first two visit were so positive that I decided to send my husband. After his first visit, he was asked to schedule for a deep cleaning. I schedule it for him, but due to unforeseen business, he was a no show. Last week, I called to reschedule his cleaning for the following Monday (which is now today). The receptionist explained that a $50 deposit was now required PRIOR TO SCHEDULING him because he was previously a no-show, but that it would be used towards his balance. I understood, apologized for him, and told her I'd call her back later in the day with my credit card information. I hung up having the receptionist's statement in mind that she COULD NOT schedule WITHOUT a $50 deposit. Well, I got busy; lost my train of thought, and forgot to call back with that credit card info. Today (Monday), I get a call from the receptionist telling me that my husband is now a no-show TWICE! Then, she rudely proceeds to state the next course of action they have to take against my husband! Confused and taken aback, I reminded her of what she previously said about her needing to FIRST have a deposit BEFORE she could re-schedule him. She admitted to it, but to my shock, she rudely flipped the blame on me stating that I was supposed to call her back with the card info, but didn't. Ok this made NO sense whatsoever. NEVER MIND she WAS NOT supposed to schedule him until AFTER I paid the deposit, which she admitted to, but somehow it is MY fault? Wait.. Wha??? Next, she confidently asked me if I wanted to speak to her Office Manager. I said sure, but I quickly learned talking to this Office Manager was more like taking to her BFF. Her attitude was totally like, "Hey, I'm just caught in the middle here!" The OM told me that she didn't hear the initial phone call, so she didn't know what was said to who... Never mind her receptionist just admitted to everything I stated. This office manager simply didn't care, and definitely didn't try to keep my business. She leaned to the side of her receptionist. My husband and I are business owners with our own office staff and we would NOT tolerate a receptionist who misleads and turns to blame our customers, nor an office manager that could care less about it, and support such rude behavior and horrible customer service. I hope Dr. Jay cares enough about her business to properly oversee and deal with the awful unprofessionalism that exist in HER establishment. She's a good dentist, but her staff picks.. not so much. Hopefully she cares enough about her business to read her reviews, and get to the bottom of the negative attitudes and practices that could be driving HER Business away! I was planning to spend thousands of dollars there on my dental work, alone! I am VERY upset that I have to research and find another good dentist due to Dr. J having such a terribly unpleasant and unprofessional front office staff. Sad.
