Dr. Jay has provided exceptional dental care for my whole family. Recently my 7 year-old daughter had to have a tooth extracted and the whole process was explained in detail and I was given the opportunity to make all the decisions regarding the course of treatment. During the procedure Dr Jay was very attentive to my daughters needs and made sure that we were both comfortable with what was going on the entire time. She was extremely supportive. I would highly recommend Dr Jay as a dentist to anyone looking for professional care with a personal touch.

Finally found a dentist who makes me and my children (9,12, and 13) feel comfortable and provides honest recommendations for treatment. Rene, the hygienist is the best- so thorough, patient, and kind. She and Dr. Jay have outstanding bedside manner, and take the time to explain everything and answer all my questions. We’ve been looking for a family dentist in Mckinney for a couple of years now, and have finally found one we’ll stick with. Friendly and competent office staff, and quality care provided by a doctor and hygienist who put us right at ease.

Dr. Jay and her team are so awesome! On my first visit, I was told I would require work on a tooth that I previously had such painful experiences with other dentists, I started crying and asked to have the tooth pulled instead. She allowed me time to come back when ready and assured I would have a better experience. While in the procedure, she found out I don't respond to Novocaine and changed the medication. Just like that, no pain! She is the best! My whole family loves her.

I searched for a long time before finding a dentist that I felt I could trust. Dr. Jay and her staff are just that. She and her staff take the time to really review your files/x-rays and make recommendations for work they feel is really needed. They also work around your schedule and really make you feel important. There truly is a family feel here. I liked them so much I recommended that my own family members switch to this practice and they are very happy that they did!

Great team at Serene Dentistry, with super friendly staff, who make you feel right at home. I have been a patient of Dr. Jay for about a year now. She is knowledgeable, professional and yet very personable and friendly. She never feels rushed and always has the time to answer all questions and concerns. From a seamless check-in process, timely reminders for upcoming appointments, flat screen TVs on the ceiling to keep you distracted, and most importantly, consistent treatment every time, Serene Dentistry comes highly recommended!

This review is long overdue...My family and I have gone to Dr. Jay since she took over the practice 3-4 years ago. For the first time ever, I feel that we have a dentist that truly cares about us and our dental health. She has worked with me to try and help my TMJ, she know how anxious I am with crowns, and she is always great at explaining procedures. My kids like going to her, and I think my son has improved his dental hygiene due to her gentle encouragement. Her office hours are fantastic for a working mom that commutes to Dallas. Plus, there is the bonus of Netflix while you have your procedures done! Thank you Dr. Jay!

My family and I have been going to Dr. Jay since she started her practice. She has an excellent rapport with patients but additionally she comes across as being unusually knowledgeable and current in her expertise. She does a good job as well in creating an environment that is efficient and comfortable for patients. I have never experience any pain or unreasonable discomfort in her office as I have with some other dentist.

My only gripe is that they don't file secondary insurance which is a problem for me in that my policy is not really set up for a patient to submit so it is always cumbersome, complicated, and error prone for me to do so and I end up not being able to take full advantage of the dual coverage. I understand it is a pain for them as well but it would be less of one. Other than that, the office staff has been good to work with and is friendly and helpful.

Dental experiences don't have to be painful and full of anxiety! I have been so pleased with this office, from the front desk staff to the hygienists and Dr. Jay. They do everything they can to keep you comfortable, and they are always so sweet to my kids when/if I have to bring them with me on my own visits. This is a big deal to me. They accommodate my kids and help with them while I'm in the dental chair! I so appreciate the kind bedside manner Dr Jay has as well as all the hygienists I have worked with! Highly recommend!!!

I neglected going to the dentist for a long time because of a terrible experience with a prior dentist.

My husband started going to Dr Jay. He came home telling me about how comfortable she made him feel and how clean the facility was and how professional the office staff was.

I got the courage to make an appointment with Dr Jay. I was very honest and told them I was terrified but I do not want to let my teeth go any longer without the care I needed.

When I got there, every person I came in contact with greeted me with compassion and understanding. I did not feel embarrassed or ashamed.

I have had crowns, fillings and my regular cleanings over a two year period and cannot say enough good things about Dr. Jay and her team! Highly recommend!

Dr.Jay and her staff has been amazing. I had a lot of work done during the past 2 years. She and her staff worked with my schedule whether it be combining 2 visits to a single visit or having late evening appointments.Dentist visit is not usually pleasant but she makes it pain free and as positive as it can be. She has the confidence and years of experience which makes me trust her judgement . Yet another aspect is her support staff is very knowledgeable and extremely helpful especially the dental assistants and the dental hygienist.I strongly recommend her to family and friends.
