Everyone I came in contact with was so respectful and nice. The first time I’ve had work done and not feel any pain at all. Nurse assistant knew what she was needed in the room for. My overall experience make Dothan Alabama location my favorite dentist office EVER😘😘😘

I had a great experience overall. I originally made the appointment just to get a cleaning. (I am active duty military and although I get one cleaning per year on base, I feel I need more.) After checking in, I was called back quickly and given x-rays. Then my gum health was assessed by a hygienist and my oral cavity examined by the doctor. He determined that I only needed a basic cleaning and the hygienist was sweet enough to squeeze one in for me.

What was great about the service:
1. Had the exam and cleaning all in one day.
2. Customer service was generally great. The xray technician, hygienist and dentist all have wonderful bedside manners.
3. The cleaning was wonderful!

What could be improved on:
1. Lunch hour absence of receptionist. I came at 1245 and no one was there to greet me. The patients sitting in the lobby guessed that the receptionist could be at lunch. A simple sign indicating when the reception would reopen would enough to solve this problem. But the lack of explanation irritated me a bit.

2. The price. Before I agree to begin any service, I always reverify the price. The receptionist, who happens to also be accounts payable, stated that cleanings start at $69. Great. But right before my cleaning the receptionist stated the prophy was $86, fluoride $50, and a crown was $xxx.00. Umm, excuse me? I only came for a cleaning so she took off the price of crown. But what happened to $69 for basic cleanings? She stated that the basic cleaning charge changes from office to office. Lol. That's way I asked for the price in the beginning? I hate the fluoride given in dental clinics so I turned it down and paid for the prophy.
BTW, another way to confuse patients is to refer to the cleaning as a cleaning during the entire service, but at billing state prophy as if all services recommended are part of the cleaning. Prophy means cleaning. At the time of payment I felt like I was dealing with a greasy used car salesman.

Overall, if I were to take the front deak and billing out of the equation, it would have been an exceptional visit!

I got two cavities filled at Aspen Dental a while back. At my next cleaning thereafter that included x-rays they told me I needed two cavities filled... in the same teeth I had just gotten done a few months before. I declined to schedule an appointment at that time. Six months later at another cleaning appointment they reminded me about the fillings. This time I scheduled an appointment and had them redone. Throughout the procedure the dentist got up multiple times to see other patients which I found really unprofessional. Especially since this was my second time paying for the same fillings at Aspen Dental. The filling on my left bottom molar (which never bothered me before) is still sensitive three weeks later. I'm so disappointed.

They say if you have a broken tooth they will get you in and get it taken care of. Well my tooth started hurting saturday. Called Monday they said they could not help but set up an appointment Tuesday. Tuesdays appointment wa nothing more than a bunch of sales pitches to get money out of you they never planned on pulling my tooth. Thursday finally they pulled my tooth. Know dont you know if it was them or some family member they would not have made them wait thru 4 days of tooth aches for a tooth removal.

Went in for a cleaning and was told I needed a deeper cleaning but really didn’t. They charged me with all kinds of stuff and did not break the cost down for me. I had to get my fiancé to look at the receipt and was told I was ripped me off. My bill was over $2k! They just want to scare you so you get the procedure done and all they want is you money. Never going back and not recommending them to anyone.

I was greeted courteously and promptly
Each person I saw was from start to finish professional and knowledgeable
Office itself was tip top without any harsh anaceptic cleaning products odor
A ll Osha requirements in place. Did not feel rushed. I scheduled an appt immediately to get started on proposed treatment plan
Will like to get my son to became a patient. Would recommend your office without hesitation to family or friends.

I I'm new to the area and had a co-worker suggest Aspen dental. I honestly thought they were just for dentures but now know they are a regular dental practice as well. This particular location is VERYbusy. Know that going in and you'll be okay. There seems to only be one actual dentist. Maybe that would be my one gripe and the reason I didn't give them five stars. They do need a second dentist at least. I sat around in my chair longer waiting on him to see me than anything else. My hygienist however was AMAZING!she did a fabulous job and if I were just rating her I would absolutely give 5 stars. I do recommend fully however because they found issues my 10-year previous dentist never 10 y

I recommend everyone to come to Aspen Dental (in Dothan Al) I had a great experience, I had a wisdom tooth pulled yesterday and the doctor that did it was fantastic, he numbed the area and literally pulled in with 60 seconds. It was by far the best experience I have ever had.. I will most definitely come to this office in the future if needed..

I came into this place with issues related to TMJ. I drove all the way to the Alabama location, about 2 hours away only to be told that there was really nothing that they could do and to be charged about $180. While the service was beyond wonderful by all of the people who worked there, I really wish the woman on the phone who made my appointment would have just been more honest with me from the beginning. She made it seem like they could definitely help out my situation when really she should have told me to go to an oral surgeon which is what I was told when I went to that location. I cannot comment on the efficiency of any cleaning procedures, but I do wish The Operators on the phone would be less concerned with making money and more concerned with their clientele; if the woman who made me the appointment had just been honest I would have gone straight to an oral surgeon and would have not made the trip to the dentist. I am giving this place a 3 because of the hospitable staff who made my visit quite pleasant, the office was very clean and the wait time was not long, there is also not an extensive amount of paperwork to fill out which is nice. If you were to go there for a teeth cleaning or for a dental procedure I'm sure it would be a great experience.
