This is a decent dentist. They do their due diligence and check your insurance. They gave me real estimates. However, I don’t fully trust the dentist here or the hygienist. They want to do deep cleaning and once I started going to them I started getting recessive gums (just a bit - nothing too serious) and I’m pretty sure it’s the way they do the cleaning. It is very thorough but I think unnecessary and could do more harm than good. Also, I had no cavities but the dentist and dental student wanted to give me a root canal (pre-existing and wanted to touch up on it) and 2 fillings - costing upwards of $1500. I got a second opinion at Milburn Dental and he just filed my tooth where I had a root canal and didn’t charge me.
In general, I’d say, if any field expert provides a professional opinion that gives you a gut instinct of “that doesn’t seem right,” then get a second opinion.
This isn’t a bad site, but it does seem like there is a lack of regard/authenticity at times. Most dentists are about getting money and although they’ll provide fair advice, I don’t believe they’re outside the dentist stereotype of trying to make a buck. Just trust your gut :)

So my entire family was seen here me and my husband “needed” a deep cleaning which is expensive and our insurance only covered regular cleanings. My aunt is a dental hygienist and everything in between she was Dentist right hand person at their old practice and she’s said that’s how they get you for more money and my teeth are extremely great shape hardly ever any plaque build up nothing a normal cleaning couldn’t take care of. I’m so naive I thought ok let me get the deep cleaning and didn’t think twice. Last time I go here won’t go to a place that will drain you for every penny especially target those who have private insurance. I use to go to my aunts office but her boss sold the practice to retire and it’s so hard to find a good family dentist. I’d stay away from here !! They keep calling me to schedule appointments even after firmly telling them I won’t go back.
