Island Dentistry

Every time I walk into Island Dentistry I am greeted with a smile by the sweetest front desk lady, I cannot remember her name but she is so kind and makes you feel welcome, when you leave she is always so sincere! Every business should have this type of customer service when you walk in! All of the hygienist are great they are always very personable. By far hands down Brandy that schedules and checks out is the most helpful staff member. I have been hesitant on receiving a specific dental procedure/item and she took the time to explain everything to me, showed me everything I would be receiving and what it all entailed, she eased my concerns of cost and just made sense overall. I’ve had many encounters with Brandy and she is ALWAYS so helpful and goes above and beyond. Thank you Island Dentistry for superb care!!

From the moment I walked in I felt very comfortable in Dr Scales office. Beautiful office and relaxed atmosphere in the waiting room.
The staff and my hygienist were very professional and on my first appointment Dr Scales addressed all concerns and pointed out any future issues I may have. With their state of the art equipment , the images of my teeth were on the screen in front of me and I could easily see what Dr Scales was talking about. I highly recommend this dental office.

I've been to a lot of dentists, and in only a few appointments I found myself really impressed by Island Dentistry. Dr. Scales does an excellent job communicating, and gave me actual explanations for what needed to be done rather than just telling me I needed it and calling it a day. The staff that deal with insurance dug me out of an absolute mess, and for those without insurance the VIP plan pricing is a fantastic option.

The front desk staff actually recognized me by name on a second appointment, I didn't have to wait months for care, and perhaps most shockingly of all based on my past dental experiences... I waited less then two minutes to be seen. No 30+ minutes in the waiting room here!

Very sweet,helpful, and kind staff. Tabitha is amazing and very thorough enjoyed my cleaning experience with her. Wish my dental insurance was in network so I didn't have to go to different dentist truly loved this office. Most concerns I had regarding visit were on me for not knowing my own dental insurance and good old technology, but do wish I was told before getting service today that it was going to be an out of network visit because I would have known to cancel appointment and go to an in network dentist. All in all though if your insurance is in network you will love this office from front to back.

I don't normally give reviews but I feel it's important to give a review on this dental practice.. i had to change dentists because of insurance coverage. I went in for a simple 6 month cleaning and came out with a handful things that need to be done. When I questioned it I was told that I did not have a choice of what cleaning I wanted But was told I needed a more extensive cleaning. No cleaning was done on this appointment! I have always been to the dentist every 6 months and have never been told that I needed all this work. Find another dentist unless you want to hand over your wallet.

The staff. All of them are so nice, from the receptionist who are so polite and courteous, to the hygienist who tour me to the place and give explanation, to the dentist who are so kind to explain everything in terms that I can understand, up to the lady in check out who patiently explained to me the schedules and future billings.
They all have smile on their faces.

The place. Its very clean, smells good, and in proper order. The have lots of parking available too.

I had several outstanding visits for an extraction procedure with follow-ups with Dr. Coleman and Hayet Spaulding. Dr. Coleman explained what needed to be done and what to expect. During the procedure she made sure I was comfortable wasn’t experiencing any pain. Everything went like it was described to me. Hayet made sure I fully understood my post op care to make sure I took the proper care of my situation. Dr. Coleman saw me on the same day I thought I had an issue after my procedure, but everything was ok. I had nothing but great service from both Dr. Coleman and Hayet. Thank you! This is a dental office that I don’t hesitate having appointments at.

First time patient, and was thrilled with this beautiful office. Dr. Erminy was so kind, informative and patient with me. He explained in detail everything and answered all my questions. Jada my dental assistant was Amazing!! The entire staff was professional and happy. Great first time experience!!

Excellent!! Staff is wonderful! They are very thorough and don’t offer unnecessary dental work. Pleasant clean office, booking appointment was great! My kids love it here as well! Five stars across the board!

They did a great job and have a professional staff. The office is very clean and give you a tour of their facility. My hygienist is Sara and she makes you feel like she’s known you forever. I highly recommend this practice.
