University Family Dentistry is amazing. The staff goes out of their way to make the patients feel well cared for. The front desk staff is very friendly on the phone and with checking in and out. I love the dental hygienist Jessica and Dr. Diaz. I highly recommend this dentist office to anyone in the area.

Extremely happy to find this dentist after moving to Florida from my long term dentist in SC! Needed to have three fillings done (two one side, one the other) and was able to have both sides done at the same time. Since it was difficult to get the "right bite" with my entire mouth numb-which was done at my request, the dentist stayed late for me when I was having some pain on the side of my mouth a short while later and needed a bite adjustment. Problem solved and no extra charge! Super friendly staff, made up front suggestions for me to save money.
For my regular hygiene appointment, they knew I was on a tight schedule with my work, and I was brought back and taken care of promptly. IN LOVE with my hygienist Mary Lynne!! Quick, helpful, and my personal favorite, not scary. Fellow dental phobes should visit.
I greatly enjoy this practice and highly recommend it.

Jessica and Dr. Dickens were both so incredible. They were extremely welcoming and Jessica did an amazing job of explaining what she was doing and also teaching me some new techniques for flossing!
The Only thing that was a bit odd was the initial “welcome” I got from the receptionist. Online it says the office opens at 8:00 AM. Since my appointment was right at 8:00 AM, I printed out and had my new patient forms ready to go beforehand so that I wouldn’t take up too much time waiting once I got there (since I know you’re supposed to get to any doctors/dentist appointments at least 15 minutes early to do paperwork) The woman at the front desk welcomed me with “you were supposed to be here at 7:40” and when I apologized and explained that I thought the earliest I could be here was when the office opened at 8 she said “we sent a confirmation text and our office opens at 7:40”
Well the confirmation text says my appointment is at 8:00 and mentioned nothing about being there by 7:40. It was a bit of a cold welcome but everyone else on staff was so incredibly friendly, and I’ll be happy to be back!

I don’t imagine any dental office being fun or exciting but Dr. Diaz is truly an Angel sent. She nice, always cheerful and smiling, and makes you feel safe. By far the best dentist ever.
