New patient with this group and have to say although no ones likes going to the dentist, this was a pleasure. Wonderful staff, very polite. Jessica was my hygienist and not only did she do a very thorough and fantastic job of performing xrays, assessing my gums, and cleaning my teeth but also explained every important finding and its meaning along the way to make sure I fully understood my own dental health. Dr Diaz was also very professional and completed my dental evaluation. Overall very impressed and pleased with my experience, I highly recommend this practice for anyone needing dental care!

I love this dentist office. Dr. Diaz is so kind and explains every step thoroughly to me. She also allows me breaks, sometimes a few, for my weak jaw. They were also able to fit me in for an Invisalign scan today. I’ve moved over an hour away but I will continue to travel back to Gainesville specifically for this dentist. The office staff and hygienist are also so wonderful.

I’ve been a patient here for years! Everyone’s so nice and welcoming. Dr Dickens is amazing and Jessica takes wonderful care of me (my teeth!). I’ve had a bit of oral trauma and they make sure that everything is fine during each visit.

The staff is very thorow, knowledgeable, communicative, and professional. They involve you in their concerns and make sure you are comfortable and understand your teeth. The prices here are very affordable for patients who don't have insurance. This office is very honest and fair. I have been to other dental clinics where the office is not honest and wants as much as your money as possible. However, University Family Dentistry, is not one of those places. They also have updated technology, which gives them a very accurate perspective on what's going on with your mouth, so they can treat things properly.

Dr Dickens and all the staff at University Family Dentistry are the absolute best. The front desk staff are always so efficient and pleasant and willing to bend over backwards to help fit you into a time slot that works with your schedule. All the dental assistants and hygienists are so gentle and professional and explain everything they do before they do it and why. Dr Dickens is so gentle, knowledgeable, and thorough. She makes sure she does the best job and leaves you with the best outcome. And I can tell they have extra procedures in place to keep the staff and patients from contracting COVID. That makes me feel very good. I’m so very happy I found this place.

Always a great experience. From the appointment reminders that are engaging, but not annoying, to the incredible personalized service I get from my hygienist and dentist, I couldn't imagine going anywhere else for my check ups. Jessica, my hygienist, is so knowledgeable and always provides top notch service. She remembers things we've talked about in the past and carries just the right amount of conversation while you're getting your teeth cleaned. The doctors are equally personable and professional. The office and examination rooms are spotless and thoroughly cleaned after every patient. This place is a no-brainer. I just wish I wore my nightguard more often, so they didn't have to remind me every visit.

A few years later and my opinion hasn’t changed. This practice is awesome!!!
