After years of avoiding the dentists because of terrible experiences, my landlord recommended I check out UFD. I've been twice now this year (and I hadn't been to the dentist in 6 years prior!) and the whole team is just WONDERFUL. Professional, calming, and excellent. I've never felt better about my oral health. So glad I found them. Highly recommend!

Needed a new dentist during my time here at UF so I stumbled upon this place. Everyone is very welcoming and their staff has made me feel comfortable at all times. I had a cleaning and Dr. Dickens gave me a few fillings. It was smooth sailing. If you need dental work done in the Gainesville area I highly recommend this office.

I called to see if I could get in, have a tooth that’s giving me pain. They worked me in right away. They were friendly, thorough & professional. Heather took my x-rays and pictures of my teeth, and checked everything out. Dr. Habib was the dentist who saw me. Very happy with the whole staff that helped me out!!

Who ever said going to the dentist can't be fun?! They have magazines in the break room, but I never have time to read them because my appointments are always right on time! Make sure you get there BEFORE your scheduled appointment time if you want to read the magazines or watch the TV in the break room.
My hygienist Jessica takes the cake when it comes to patient care and bedside manner. She is knowledgeable and ensures my comfort, even when doing a deep cleaning. So, if you have periodontal disease, make sure you go to her for scaling. She doesn't judge you if you don't floss or have oral issues; she's happy that you're there to take care of it. I've been heeding her suggestion to use a waterflosser in those hard-to-reach areas and it has been working! Thanks, Jessica!
Dr. Dickens, my dentist, is a real genuine person! She cares about patient comfort and overall wellbeing. I recently had a filling and I didn't feel a thing! She made sure I was comfortable and double checked to see that my bite was even before I checked out.
Felicia, the assistant, was beyond professional and a pleasure to chat with while my face was going numb before my filling. She didn't seem to mind that I was slurring because of my numb lip. The women at the front desk always ensure I fully understand my coverage and services. They make sure I leave with a smile, even if I accidentally drooled on the counter. Don't worry, they sanitized everything.

I called about my tooth and they managed to get me in that day and get the tooth removed.
They went above and beyond to get me in because of how much pain I was in.
They were very informative and broke everything down for me to understand, including cost.
The doctor and nurse we're very friendly and professional and will definitely recommend them and visit again.
