I went there for a cleaning and a denture lining. I didn't get either one instead I was tricked into signing up for care credit for other services I didn't need I didn't go there to end up in debt.Aspen dental is a scam

They were the worst experience ever! They canceled my oral surgery 2days prior to my appointment without my knowledge.I showed up and had to reschedule with Holly a very rude receptionist.Upon arriving for my rescheduled appointment, I was treated poorly again by Holly.She had no idea of my account balance and caused me to run into my appointment time.Ultimately resulting in Dr. Ishmael stating that he only had time to do half of my surgery.Completely distasteful and unreasonable considering they had already rescheduled my surgery and employees lack of knowledge is beyond my control.This place is vey inconsiderate of your time and are all about taking your money.Go somewhere where you will be appreciated and cared for properly.They should be removed from my employer insurance network for discrimination and putting patients health at risk.The behavior or the staff and Dr are unprofessional and unacceptable. I wish I could give them zero stars!

Their staff members are the most polite and caring people, to the point that you forget there are still nice people in the world. They are true professional and I'm more than happy to give them a 5 star rating, because they have earned it.

The old lady at the front desk with the glasses and curly gray hair is horrible and unfriendly. Came in, not a hello or acknowledgment and when I told her I had an appointment she just had an attitude.

UPDATE: I was diagnosed with periodontitis by this practice. I was told that I would need a perio cleaning (not covered by insurance) every 3 months. Yet when I show up for my 3 month cleaning, they all of a sudden cancel my appointment because my insurance changed and they "didn't want me to have to pay a lot."
You should NEVER jeopardize a patients health because of insurance issues (which were all their fault anyway. I called the day before to tell them my insurance had changed and they said they would take care of it at my appointment, but my appointment was scheduled too early in the morning before Health Partners was open, so they couldn't call to confirm my coverage and instead refused me service).
The real icing on the cake though, is that I switched to another dentist and they told me I had NO SIGNS OF PERIODONTITIS. None. In fact they said everything looked good.
I will be reporting this location to the Better Business Bureau and will be exploring any legal remedies for medical malpractice.
A complete and utter scam. AVOID AVOID AVOID.This place is a sham. Completely unprofessional and rude service. I was asked by them to reschedule twice, and then they couldn’t get me in for another month! Also, they asked me to prepay for my next visit which I think is a really shady practice. The only reason I came here is because this one of the few places that takes my insurance. Avoid at all costs!

The is an outstanding dental office, and I highly recommend getting care at this location! My dentist was informative, office staff were exceptionally helpful, and my overall experience was positively memorable. I’ve avoided the dentist because of past experiences, however the entire team made me feel welcomed and comfortable. My hygienist, Yoah, was AWESOME! She was supportive, skilled and personable. Go to Aspen Dental Brooklyn Center if you want an exceptional care!
