Dental staff was great, however the front office and billing staff is definitely not. I have been trying to reach someone in this office to explain why they overcharged my insurance for a routine visit. The person I did reach told me that my medical billing had not been charged which makes no sense at all. After reaching out to my dental and medical insurance for clarification and an explanation, all roads led back to Great Expressions. I have called everyday for a week straight, waiting for 30 minutes or more to get someone on the phone to get my issue resolved with no resolve. I stopped going here because I scheduled an appointment well in advance and after being asked to arrive earlier for my scheduled appointment, then seeing 5 people go back and still waiting and not being seen. I asked the front desk person why I hadn't been seen after I had been called to come in earlier and it was not past my original appointment and was asked if I had an appointment. I have tried to contact someone via their website and have yet to receive a response. This is definitely not what quality customer service looks like.

My experience was awesome today. Dr. Woods is fantastic! I came in and got a root canal done within an hour. Thank you for everything!

Dr. Woods did a phenomenal job. His professional disposition minimized the fear I had initially & the pleasantness of the reception @ the front desk was very much appreciated.

From the delightful young lady at the front desk who was extremely high spirited and professional to the infamous Dr Eddie Woods. I was totally cared for!. My service was a root canal. I did not feel the slightest pinch of my preliminary injection. He was done so quickly, I was still anticipating the worst...but it never happened. If you have dental procedure anxiety, you will be well cared for here. After 6 hours and the wear off of the numbing med, I have only used 1 ibuprofen that I took when I picked up my prescription. My jaw or area of the root canal is not even sore. I am elated!!! A big thanks and shout out to the best team ever!🤗

I originally went for a cleaning, I was convinced I needed a deep cleaning and I needed a filling between my bottom left molars. After the filling the only time I was able to eat meat was if I could get through unbearable pain. I went back so they could fix it, several months later I’m still in pain every time I eat. I’ve NEVER had these issues before. On top of that I was supposed to get a crown implant within 2 weeks from the 2nd part of my procedure. I had to cancel due to Covid however they couldn’t fit me in until 5-6 weeks later, then I was told to come back after the implant was sent from lab. I had an appointment scheduled for Friday at 11am so I had to adjust my work schedule. About an hour before my appointment I get a text, not call but text that my appointment was rescheduled for Monday, so I had to adjust my work schedule again…When I called office to explain how hard it was to get off work they said others schedules had to be adjusted as well and dismissed my time and the time sensitive procedure I needed done. When I finally do get to my appointment, not only was it the wrong crown so now I have to wait I’m not sure how long before I get the correct one but the billing was all messed up. I thought I was done paying for everything. So at the appointment before my last they advised I had reached my annual maximum so I had to pay an additional $612 but when I came to get the crown I would be all set, I don’t owe them anything else. As you know I couldn’t get the crown as expected and on top of that he tells me I owe another $926. When I explained what he told me the last time he said he didn’t know I had reached my maximum even though he told me that’s why I had to pay more before so he definitely knew that. Needless to say I had to pay if I eventually want my tooth. As of now, I’m very disappointed. My doctor is nice but the pain I’m in, the indecisive billing, and still waiting for my tooth. Nice is not going to bring me back after this final procedure, which I’m still waiting on. Remind you it’s a time sensitive procedure when should’ve been completed in July, and today’s date is Sept 16th 2021….still waiting…. I probably should’ve waited to write the review, it’s still time for something else to go wrong.

Today was my first visit and what an exhilarating experience. Facility is extremely clean and immaculate maintained. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Dr. Williams was AMAZING!!! I expressed my personal dental concerns and Dr. Williams tailored a treatment plan that worked for me. Very pleased with the practice overall.

I was referred to Dr Woods, by my regular dentist at the Hapeville location, to perform a root canal. Like others who have reviewed I, too, was disappointed in the wait time at the Cascade office. My appt was at 3p and I waited until after 4:30p to get seen by the doctor. Given that they are a big office and were very busy I understood how easy it could be to get behind so, though it caused a bit of time anxiety, I wasn’t bothered too much by that. I actually appreciate how no frills they are. As an environmentalist I’m often bothered by the excessive waste generated by the medical community and I am grateful to see that not be the case for a change. When Dr Woods did get to me, he was amazing. He was very professional and friendly, had wonderful energy, was efficient and calm. I went for a consultation for a root canal and ended up getting the procedure done instead and he performed it in less than an hour. I have put off getting important dental work done for years b/c I’ve had so many bad experiences with dentists and finding a good one is so overwhelming. When I would go in for something specific they would make it seem mandatory to get a cleaning, would tell me everything wrong with my mouth, and way overcharge. My experiences so far with Great Dental Expressions has been very different than that. They work on what I’m specifically there for, are up front about the prices and are not pretentious about anything. They offer a Smile Protection Plan that makes a huge difference in the cost of things for people without insurance like myself. If you’re looking for a fancy dentist where everything is new and shiny and you feel like you’re being pampered then this isn’t the place for you. But if you need no bs affordable quality dental care I would highly recommend this place and Dr Woods.

Ortho doctor is AMAZING!!! Staff is AMAZING BUT no one ever answers the phone. I have been calling for two days and I’m instantly directed to VM. I have left voicemails and received no call back. I can say that they are consistent with not answering the phone as this has happened multiple times in the past. Really disappointed.

Lanique, one of the front office admins, is such a genuinely nice person. During my time there, she greeted me with a smile and made me feel so welcome in the establishment. During the process of checking in she realized I didn’t have a mask and explained the new policy regarding wearing one. I didn’t have one with me nor did I have one in the car and just when I was about to leave the office, she went to her car and got one for me. She truly went above and beyond for me and I appreciate that.
