Hawaii Family Dental - Kihei

I have been going to this dental office for 14 years. I have always been pleased with the friendliness and gentleness of Dr. Thomas and Heather. The office staff is always nice and helpful and always on time.

I was a bit nervous since Heather left because the dentist has never been my choice for a visit. However I was extremely pleased with Christy. She was pleasant and most of all very gentle. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Thomas or Christy.

Hawaii Family Dental should be re-named to Aloha Family Dental. When you arrive, you are treated with Aloha as you are Ohana. Ivy is wonderful; Rayna so Aloha. Dr. Thomas is so gentle; you neva feel the numbing needle. Dr. Thomas sees 25 plus patients/day. Dr. Thomas takes time to listen, explains your procedure and gives extra care and aloha to make your smile bettah. Go see this team and Dr. Thomas. You will be smiling brighter!

Kailey was my hygienist for a deep cleaning. She was excellent as she has always been on my previous visits. The staff at the Kihei office was friendly and professional as always. Thanks for all your great work.

Very friendly and helpful staff! Dr. Thomas and Yana are wonderful. Yana was so kind and gentle during my cleaning. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for the best dental service.

I am grateful to the entire staff at Hawaii Family Dental in Kihei. Given the new guidelines with Covid-19 they were professional and had everyone’s well being handled!

I am especially grateful for the patience, professionalism, kindness, sensitivity and good humor of all these hard working folks. I am not a very good patient when it comes to my teeth, and they do their utmost to ensure for as graceful an experience as possible.

I can not recall the Dentist’s name that I worked with - I believe he is one of the main dentist’s there. He is so kind, sensitive and patient. He takes time to explain in detail procedures and always makes sure that I am comfortable and not in pain and he does great work. The assistants and hygienists also are professional, knowledgeable, sensitive and patient. Shout out to Miss Kaylee(sp?), she cleaned my teeth and it had been awhile. She was so sensitive and intuitive. I have extreme sensitivity when it comes to any dental work and she was awesome!

Hawaii Family Dental is the best Dental office I have ever been to and I'm from San Diego!!! I had a teeth cleaning today and Christy was my hygienist. She was also the best I've ever had! She and everyone in the office is so friendly and the front desk people are so organized!! Highly recommended!!

The dentists and team are beyond amazing! They made my kids feel so, so relaxed even though they were undergoing some extractions and other intensive treatments. It was like dinner and a show, the dentists crept su smiling, laughing and most importantly, informed. We learned so much about healthy dental habits that will benefit us for our entire lifetime. While some dental offices in the mainland are like overstuffed jungle gyms, this is Maui and I think it is the perfect island office where you can trust that you will get the most attentive care for your children. Also, they were one of the ONLY offices who would respond in the midst of businesses reopening from COVID and, they accept QUEST! My son’s teeth would have gotten so much worse had that not gotten us in for so many appointments over the past few months and I am just so grateful for Hawaii Family Dental and all they did. Also, the doctors speak Spanish which is an additional bonus. They’re the best!

My son saw Dr. Keeton and his assistant Ivy. They were fantastic! They answered all my questions and were very attentive, loving and caring to my son Noah. Thank you Hawaii Family Dental!

They are so awsome! I had two wisdom teeth pulled out and didn't feel a thing and I didn't need laughing gas . My tooth was severely impacted and siting sideways I was really nervous and scared but they took very good care of me. I hope to be working there as a dental assistant very soon!!!! I really would love to be apart of their team!

The only reason why I have patronized this dental facility is due to the in-network restrictions from my insurance. Otherwise, the office staff is unprofessional (double billed my insurance), the dentist always tries to "sell" me other procedures, and safety covid measures are not up to par. Thankfully, I have kept my "second opinion" dentist on my contact list, Dr. Thomas of Kihei. That staff is always professional, the office is clean, and Dr. Thomas does not try to "sell" me other procedures. My safety and well being is always his concern. Stay away from Hawaii Family Dental if you can.
