Thank goodness there is air-conditioning at the office now! I wasn't happy to see that the customer's dental chair was old and the upholstery all torn up - the condition of which doesn't give me confidence in how well equipment is taken care of here. Hopefully, that will be replaced soon.

Everyone was nice and friendly. Very professional. I am sensitive to perfume and scents and the X-ray tech had doused herself in a perfume that caused an allergic reaction and headache.

Everyone at Family Dental has been super nice. I got my Dentist, Dr. Barba, by chance and I lucked out. He is both a great dentist and a sweet and handsome guy. I had a great dentist on the mainland and,now, I have one here in Kihei.

I was a new patient 12/11/17, I had a great experience! Tony did my x-rays & told me she would be taking 18 & it might be uncomfortable...it was the best x-ray experience ever!! THEN....I HAD BEEN TOLD FROM ANOTHER DENTIST HERE IN Kihei that I needed 3-4 crowns & needed to see a relative of theirs to see if roots we're good, that I may need root canals. I had to reschedule that appointment & found out it was scheduled for a root canal. I knew I didn't need it & Dr. at Hawaii Family Dental knew from my x-rays I didn't need it. I APPRECIATE HONESTY, THAT GETS MY BUSINESS & MY FAMILY.

Hawaii Family Dental is the place to go if you need full exam, good cleaning, filings, all other dental services. I like how they are open on Saturdays, its very convenient for someone that works Monday-Friday like me. I don't have to miss work. They send out call reminders, emails and texts. I love how I go in and get services right away and the staffs are very friendly and helpful. In my first experience, I had a bad toothache/sensitivity and trouble eating. I called and got in right away. Dr. Thomas was very gentel and explained well enough to me to understand what was going on and fixed my tooth in no time. At check out they prepared me for my next visit and what to expexct as far as treatments and dental coverage.

From beginning to end, this was the best experience I’ve had at a dental practice. The front desk staff was courteous, and they got us right in (early in fact). The hygenist was quick and efficient and Dr. Thomas was awesome! I am actually looking forward to my next appointment!
