Appointment began on time, staff were very friendly and professional. Hygienist did a great job with cleaning and exam. Office itself was pretty dirty, they need a new custodian. There were dust bunnies on the floor in the corners of the exam room, kinda gross especially in a medical/dental office. Dr. was friendly, though his exam consisted of telling me the cosmetic "fixes" they could offer to the smile I'm happy with and didn't mention myself, so that was a bit weird and seemed like he was pushing some corporate line or something. I'll probably go back since I'll generally be seeing the hygienist who did a good job and was very professional.

Office staff are always so accommodating! I had a scheduled appointment, but couldn't make it due to an emergency. The next available date was over 2 months out. Kierra called me the very next day to schedule another appointment the same week. I didn't have to wait 2 months and upon arrival she even asked about the health of my mother. It always feels like family when I come to Aspen. Thanks!

Both the dentist and hygienist were very kind to my daughter and I. Received a lot of good information and had a great experience. Will be back for sure in six months. 5 stars for sure.

Dishonest/double billing practices. Billed for treatments not received. I was billed for multiple quadrant scaling and planing and paid in advance for all of it. When I sat down in the chair they absolutely did not do scaling and and planing, the hygienist did maybe a couple of extra scrapes with normal tools, did not go beneath the gumline and did not administer any numbing agent. I have had this process done before at other dentists and it was absolutely nothing like what Aspen dental performed. They told me that I had to come back for a "regular" cleaning and polishing because they didn't want to do it at that sitting. I scheduled to come back for a normal cleaning and a week later I received ANOTHER bill for the scaling and planing service that they supposedly had already given me and I had already paid for. Overall I was charged $570 to receive a normal cleaning, a tube of special toothpaste and a bottle of mouthwash. And this was with Insurance. I told the hygienist that what she had done was absolutely not scaling and planing, i've always received treatment with the high powered waterjet and numbing agent at every other dentist I've been to for this process, and I said "what you just did is a normal cleaning". She disagreed and said "oh we don't always go below the gum line for scaling and planing". I am disputing the double charges. They also charged me for seeing the dentist, who I never saw. I only saw the hygienist. I have never experienced this level of ineptitude and dishonesty at any other dentistry I've ever been to in my life. Zero stars.

I am waiting in the car, while my daughter is getting a very painful tooth pulled. When I made an appointment yesterday, they said they would fix the problem, come to find out, they lied. They did a comprehensive exam to make money, which only made her pain worse. She was crying in the chair, and they cared zero. They had no problem calling me in to tell me how much money they needed and the additional work that needed done, but I couldn’t be with my under aged daughter due to Covid. If you are allowed to be with your children in the ED, doctors office, and other appointments, you should be able to be with your child at a dentist appt when she is having a tooth pulled. The reason we came back today? Because she was in so much more pain from the appointment yesterday, she didn’t want to wait to find another place to go. The strangest thing? Still never meant dentist! They have the manager come out and tell you what is wrong and how much you owe. I don’t want a manager, with no medical training at all, telling me what’s wrong and how to fix it. My daughter just came out and has to come back Monday now. Why? The manager said we could get two things done today because she has no medical experience and doesn’t know you can’t do them both the same day. This place is ran like a business, not a dentist office. No compassion or empathy. Very sad

Extremely professional in every way. Fast efficient and personable. From the receptionist to the Doctor, everyone was courteous and direct. Erica and Stacy made my visit informative and comfortable. The Marine also did well, arranging a cleaning within 10 minutes of my exam. Thanks

Chose them because I don't have dental insurance and I saw they had discounts for those without. So happy with my decision! I hadn't been to a dentist in a long time and was having tooth pain. The techs are super nice and the doctors explained my treatment plan and made sure I was comfortable during my treatments. Scheduling was fast and easy. Wait time was very short. The best part: no more pain.

In saw all the necessary Personnel to get my issues corrected and was out before I knew it would highly recommend this to anyone contemplating dental procedures! Bravo Aspen Dental!!

Overall I am happy with how Aspen Dental treats basic dental care. Ashton, the hygienist, is wonderful. I love that it is a judgment-free zone. I've never gotten lectured about my oral hygiene, and their kind concern gave me the motivation I needed to go from horrible oral hygiene to doing so well that Ashton comments on how well I take care of my teeth every time I see her. It truly transformed my oral hygiene routine in the best possible way. They also are very flexible with appointments for regular dental care, which is nice when you can't afford to miss work for an appointment. However, this is not the place to go if you need to do something like get your wisdom teeth out. They don't have their own oral surgeon, just a visiting one who is in the office one day a month. Furthermore, the oral surgeon who used to come to the Peoria office no longer comes. They gave me the option of going over an hour away to one of two other Aspen Dental locations, and they had only two dates available per month. Neither date worked for me and my work schedule. When I tried to go to an oral surgeon in Peoria, Aspen Dental would not offer a referral. Fortunately the oral surgeon's office made an exception for me, realizing that "at the end of the day, it's about the patient," and I was able to get in. Then when the surgeon quoted me the out-of-pocket cost of the surgery it was over $2000 less than what Aspen Dental was charging, even though Aspen Dental had assured me that it would be very difficult to find a surgeon who would do the surgery for less than they were charging.
