I was going to have my last two lower teeth pulled, but couldn't because of an infection and it was extremely painful...most importantly though, the doctor listened and discovered the infection instead of "bullying" his way through as other doctors (not from Aspen) have done in the past!! I am on antibiotics now and will have the procedure done in a week. I am very Thankful!

Went to Aspen Dental to get an extraction, the Doctor took my tooth out with no problem, the only bad thing about my experience was the long wait in the waiting room my appointment was at 830 and didn't get called until after 930, they pack people in there like cattle and only one doctor, everyone was running around back there like a chicken with its head cut off not a relaxing experience at all! That being said I would go back because the most important thing I went in there for was taken care of getting my tooth pulled that was causing me tremendous pain and the price was right!

Overall, I am pleased with Aspen Dental. I was unsure about going to a "chain" dental office. However, after an exam, a thorough cleaning, and one filling, I now believe they provide better service and more complete care than the private practice I was seeing before.

Specifically, I have to say that Todd is an excellent hygienist. He didn't pull any punches when telling me what areas needed to improve. He did a great job educating me, and I now see the big difference between a good hygienist and a good dentist. At other places I've gone, I thought it was great that the dentist did the cleaning - now I see that they were rushing the job and not taking care of everything that I needed. He's very friendly without being a chatterbox - who wants that when your mouth has tools in it?! He also did a fantastic job of painlessly administering the anesthetic for my filling.

The dentists at this office seem VERY busy and basically all prep is done by other team members and the dentist flies in and out to do your procedure. However, I think she did a great job technically.

The one thing I will say is that they will definitely suggest/upsell products or services. I was asked about teeth whitening even though I didn't bring it up, and I specifically had to ask not to have the extra oral cancer screening rinse ($70 or so my insurance wouldn't have covered). When you go into the financial planning office, just ask for an itemized print out of the treatment plan instead of seeing only the final number.

I would recommend Aspen Dental, and Todd honestly was the one that made the experience turn from a skeptical one to a good one. Since most people spend more time with a hygienist than a dentist, that's a pretty good measure to me.

This is the first time in years since I've been to a dentist. These people here are very friendly. I bought a new set of dentures and I was given choices of what I want...that I didn't get a chance of doing that 27 years ago. The dentures look so natrual and it's light compared to my old set. There's this gal...she's short and wears glasses...Couldn't remember her name...but she really listens and understands. She also will give you answers for any questions you asks. She was very helpful! I would definitely recommend anyone to go to Aspen dental for your dental needs. The payment plan is awesome and it's convenient too. I'll be returning soon for an adjustment on the new set of dentures. I'm very happy. Thank you!!

The billing issues I have had are ridiculous. I made a payment in office for $36 and was told my account was at $0. A month later I got another bill for $88.80 because they had performed xrays that were too soon for my insurance to cover. Since they were the only dentist I had been to, it was very disappointing that they did not tell me upfront. They also performed services that my insurance didn't cover. Now I have 1 day to pay the notice or they are sending me to collections. Just be cautious coming here if you are on a budget like me.

Im not even giving Aspen Dental a start. They are horrible. I came to the dentist to get an exam and a cleaning. My appointment was at 2:15pm. I arrived at 2:00pm with my papers already filled out. I sat in the waiting room for about 25 minutes before i was called back.

Once I got in the back the dentist assistant was very rough with me because was in a rush. She then put me in a room where a sat for a long time for someone to come in and examine my teeth for 5 minutes. I then waited 45 mintues before the doctor came in only to pluck at 2 of my teeth and then he left out and was done. I asked the nurse was I not getting a cleaning and she said no that will be next time.

So i sat there all that time not to get my teeth clean. The girl told me to wait so more so i could get a cleaning scheduled. I waited another 15 minutes and was never called to come make an appointment. I got up myself to find that three women one being the nurse and one being the lady that was suppose to schedule me having a nice ole personal conversation in the hall way.

I was very upset because no one should have to sit for almost to hours and not get their teeth clean. The Aspen Dental in Peoria IL is horrible and I’ll tell anyone not to go there.

Shanice and Ashton were awesome they deliver great patient service. As soon as you walk in you are greeted like you've know the front office for years. I had a cleaning by Ashton and it was absolutely phenomenal, I've had plenty of cleanings but the way she did it was like no other. She made me feel very safe and relaxed and we always have good conversation I've been places where you are in and out and you barely speak to the people and that's weird. Shanice was the main dental assistant I believe, she not only helped me with my crown on my second visit but she also made sure the trainee was properly equipped and understood everything she was doing. Shanice is the pulse of Aspen dental in Peoria and I'm glad she was there to assist the doctor. Overall great place and honestly everyone is so smooth and cool. This is definitely a place you should visit if you are looking for dental care. Honestly everyone in the office deserves a raise!!!Go TEAM!!

I've had dentures for over 20 years and was never happy with them. The people at Aspen have been wonderful and seeing my new dentures at the "try-in" stage almost made me cry from happiness. I love Aspen Dental. They all did their best for me.

Don't go here. They slipped into my bill a $100 electric toothbrush, and a bunch of treatments that my insurance didn't cover. They also may be hard to get ahold of - one time I had to call their office, and everytime I called the phone rang and then disconnected. The last time I went there, the dentist seemed annoyed with me, and he stabbed me with a shot without a warning. You shouldn't have to worry about a dentist intentionally trying to cause more discomfort or pain.

Appointment time was kept by staff; quick and efficient. Pleasant demeanor displayed. I would have liked for dentist to have allowed me to ask questions BEFORE surgery. I would have preferred silver amalgam rather than composite for my filling but was not given the choice. Requested copy of x-rays which was not provided.
