Terrible Experience! I went there to get a few minor fillings. Dr. Shamblott was unable to successfully numb my teeth. After the 2nd attempted I ended up crying out in pain.
Second I felt like he provided poor customer service. It is clear he is a knowledgable dentist. He took no time to explain the procedure or ask if I had questions after it was completed. Lastly I don't have smooth fillings.
The last thing he said to me was "Okay you are all set, sorry you had a bad experience." Then walked away.
Poor services and didn't give me the impression he was concerned about making a happy patient or customer.
Do not recommend!!!

The staff made me feel at ease the moment I walked in the door. I have a fair amount of dental anxiety, and have some work that needs to be done that I have been putting off because of this. Needless to say, I made my next appointment, and am not nervous to go in for it! Thank you!!

My first visit was in November 2018. I had several root canals & crowns, several cavities with sedation, I also got a mouth-guard as I grind my teeth while I sleep.
I have no insurance and I paid over 11,000 for my dental work at that one appointment. Today when I went in for a check up I brought my mouth-guard which has loosened considerably over time. It hasn't fit correctly since I got it, rocking from side to side and from front to back. I'd gone in a couple times right after I got it because of these problems and was told that it would be replaced when I came in for my checkup. (It has a one year guarantee).
The dental tech told me "These things cost $500, we will repair it if we can instead of replacing it! -- Ugh!
I am upset and very frustrated!! I didn't want to be without that protection.
Now I have to buy a temporary guard so I don't chip my teeth between now and when I get my mouth-guard back next week.

Switched here a year ago from Park Dental after price shopping my "treatment plan". They accept emergency visits and I've seen a few events where they offer their services to those who otherwise wouldn't be able to get treatment. If they need x-rays, they don't worry about whether or not insurance is going to take care of it. They take care of you! Staff is all very friendly and professional as well.

The entire staff at Shamblott Family Dentistry is always so friendly and helpful. My son had two teeth extracted and it was a non-traumatic experience. Dr. St. Dennis kept us informed before, during and after the procedure and followed up with us to check on his condition. We love Shamblott Family Dentistry!

Worst Clinic ever for minority or black people person. They kept messing with my appointment, the lady from the owner from clinic doesn’t care at all for patients! I guess just only after $$$and very rude front desk. What they talk on Tv don’t trust it now I have to look for another clinic

I went in for a cleaning because they advertise on my favorite radio station. The cleaning is very thorough and the staff is very kind. Dr. Shamblott came in and consulted with me about a toothe that had cracked that I complained about to the hygienist. I went in for a crown a week later and after just a few days, I was experiencing pain that wouldn't go away. I called and was able to get in right away early Monday morning at which point I was told I needed a root canal. I'm not afraid to go to the dentist but I'm not a fan either because I've always been uncomfortable with procedures. Dr. Shamblott and his assistants did a great job of keeping me comfortable. I had a nice pair of sunglass to wear to keep the light from blinding me and they even offered radio or a movie to watch if I wanted. I didn't feel anything during the procedure and they made sure to ask often if I was still okay.
After the procedure, Dr. Shamblott prescribed Vicodin in case I experience soreness. I ended up not having to buy any of it nor take any other pain med because I didn't need it. I highly recommend this nice little family practice in Hopkins. I drove from Eden Prairie and although there are literally 10 clinics closer to my residence, it was well worth it.

I went to my dentist on the 5th with an abscessed wisdom tooth. They couldn't get me in until october 1 to get it out. I call Shamblott and they got me in the NEXT DAY!!! I have severe anxiety going to the dentist and Dr. Henson and the team were seriously AMAZING!! I will be a loyal patient of their for a VERY long time! Thank you so much for being so kind hearted and patient with me! And now I am pain free and EXCITED to go back to see them! 100/10 stars!

I've been going to this clinic for a few years, but recently went in for my first experience with cavities and first experience with Novocaine since I was a child... I was very anxious and they made the whole process so easy and essentially painless! They earned my business for life yesterday!
