Super awesome and friendly staff. Cleanest teeth I’ve had in years. Dr. Shamblott did an excellent job explaining my options, to make an informed decision going forward. I’ll recommend this office to everyone who wants competent dental care.

I had a great experience. It was my first dental appointment in a year and a half, so I was long overdue. They explained what to expect and then explained what they were doing. Very thorough and no surprises. I like that I was able to schedule my next appointment for a Saturday.

I love Shamblott and I especially love Dr. Tracy. I am new here to the Twin Cities and she is the first dentist I have seen since moving here. I have a lot of issues with my teeth and I greatly appreciate her compassion, professionalism, and warm personality. The ladies at the front desk are great as well. I highly recommend Shamblott.

Was very impressed with this dental clinic. I ended up with a bad toothaches this last weekend and they were able to get me in this morning. Never have been to this clinic before so went in as a new patient. Front desk staff was very nice and helpful, Ally ( spelling) the doctors assistant was awesome and very helpful with questions, Dr. Claudia was great and went over everything with me, I think the other assistant’s name is Rachel ( with the labs) was awesome also.. Thank you all.. made going to a dentist good again.

We had a scheduled appointment at 930 for our two-year-old daughter who had bumped her tooth. We waited one hour then went in back for x-rays, were told by the dentist she would have to have her tooth pulled. We were sent back out and ended up waiting at least another hour before she was able to be seen again. The Novocain needle got pushed all the way through her upper lip. It was the most horrible experience I’ve ever had at the dentist office in my life!! Could not believe it was happening. He even tried to deny it! No apologies. Our daughter is still traumatized. She talks about it every day. I would definitely not recommend this office for a small child or really anyone. We have three other children that I was planning on making appointments for and that will not be happening. Never never never again. He is extremely cold and uncaring. Should not be a dentist. This was so upsetting and she will probably always be afraid of dentists after this nightmare. Don’t believe the commercials.

Our emergency visit was fast and delightful, yes delightful at a dentist office. Our daughter has down syndrome chipped a tooth. They spoke directly to her, listening and watching her body language. I could not believe she choose no pain meds or numbing during the procedure. They continuously told her what they were doing. Someday fix. So Happy with the outcome

Dr. Shamblott has been supportive, gentle, and kind about my dental phobia. He takes his time, lets me ask questions, and makes me feel very comfortable. He even gave me a copy of each of his books to take home, which I read both. His ability to explain where the fear comes from and strategies to overcome is phenomenal. Happy to say I have found a forever dentist home in Dr. Shamblott's practice!

I hadn't been to a dentist in over 10 years. I'm 52 years old and was terrified of what I was going to find out. My experience was better than I could have imagined. My dental tech was fantastic walking me through everything he was doing. No shaming, no lectures just this is whats going to happen and "don't worry you'll be fine". I was in pain and not a happy guy, but hey never got upset with me and kept me calm. The work needed to restore my teeth was more than I expected but they broke it all down and explained what I could wait on and what needed to be done right away. Very professional, no scare tactics just great dental care.

Let's start with the positive. After hearing the radio commercials I reached out to this office via email on Saturday November 23 and was able to come into their St. Paul office at an agreed upon time. Their response time was quick. There is off-street parking as well. Their office is nice. After using a tablet to fill out pages of information and take pictures of myself (not a fan especially when I'm in pain) I saw Dr. Scott Shamblott, as well as, a very friendly and capable dental assistant (Kathy?). They took numerous x-rays.

The assessment was I had a small hole in my tooth because a piece of food had been lodged there which was affecting the nerve; I would need a root canal, crown and fill 2 small cavities. The cost was over $3500. Unfortunately, my employer, Cambria, does not offer dental insurance. I'm sure if I had preventive dental coverage I wouldn't be in the situation. The Care Credit which I had applied for prior to coming in only approved $1,000. The office required at least half the payment to proceed. They do not do payment plans.

Shamblott said "Well, do you want to be out of pain?" I was managing the pain with Aleve so it wasn't terrible.
Of course, I'd like to out of pain but didn't have half the amount. I thought Shamblott was professional and no worse than any other dentist I've experienced on the personality scale. He also gave me a couple of books he had written which was rather amusing. It probably would have been more appropriate to give them to me when I was in for a routine cleaning. When you have dental pain you're typically tired, frustrated and not in the mood for reading.

My alternative is price shopping for dental service which is time consuming and adds more frustration to the entire situation. I'm not sure I would go back.

I am the person who has been too afraid and too ashamed to go to the dentist for years. But then, I broke a tooth, so I had no choice but to be seen. Dr. Robert Henson, Cathy, and Kathy were so amazing to me. They immediately put me at ease, didn't make me feel bad about any issues I had, but instead gave me clear and concise treatment plans for how to get my oral health back in order. Within an hour of being there we were laughing and joking, I couldn't believe it! I feel like this thing that was hanging over me for so many years is finally gone, and I couldn't be more thankful. Thank you so much you guys!
