Incredible experience!! I called them early on a Saturday morning to have a tooth extracted. The tooth was giving me a lot of serious pain and my cheek was swelling! They fit me in their very busy schedule the same day! So happy they are open on Saturdays! All staff members were professional and very polite. Dr. Tracy St. Dennis totally took care of me. She really knows what she is doing and was genuinely concerned about my well being, actually the entire staff was concerned about my well being. Shamblott Family Dentistry is my new "dentist". Everyone that I dealt with made it as comfortable as possible for me. They turned a painful (literally) situation into a pleasant experience. Thank you to everyone that helped me!!

Very disappointed. Went in for my "free new patient exam" very hopeful. They told me everything I needed done. Root canal, wisdom extraction and a deep cleaning. Root canal being the most important since I had an infection. I decided to schedule all three things in one day with my limited schedule. I went in for my appointment and found out I'm not getting my root canal...the most important thing needed to be done. Got my "cleaning" and an extraction. I liked Dr. Henson a lot and the extraction went well, but everything else was incredibly disappointing. My extraction was much more than anticipated at first exam and they made the payment and insurance very confusing, they even confused my dad. Probably won't be back.

My dental hygienists have always been top quality and both Drs. Benson and Shamblott are great with patient care… plus I really trust this clinic to be only referring me for procedures I need, unlike some other clinics.

I hate going to the dentist but today's experience was great! From the initial front desk check in to Ashley the Dental hygienist to Dr. Claudia de Llano, everyone was so nice and made me feel totally comfortable. I have some flex spending money to use before the end of the year which is only a couple weeks away and the financial person figured out how much the procedures would cost out of pocket and I have just about enough to cover all the costs. And she found two separate times that would work for me to come back to have all my work done before the end of the year. I actually can't wait to go back to see Ashley again!

I had the loss of a large filling which exposed a tooth to damage and decay. Shamblott Family Dentistry fit me into their busy Saturday schedule. The staff were polite and professional. The facility is large, well staffed, well equipped and appears to be capable of providing state of the art professional dental services. This was my first visit but will not be my last.

I am new to the practice. I came in with a dental "emergency", if you will, chipped tooth as far as I knew. Scott repaired the tooth in question. X-rays revealed nerve damage and a root canal was required. It was completed as well. The root canal work required no pain medicine that night or any time since. The filling on the chipped tooth was satisfactory but could have been better. He fixed it immediately upon my letting him know. I would need more time to assess the long term performance of this practice. I have several more fillings that turned up upon my first comprehensive appointment after the root canal and trust this practice will do a wonderful job on those. All staff were friendly and professional. This is a relatively new location for the dentist and will only get better with time.

My regular dentist office called this morning and there was an error in scheduling and they wouldn't be able to do my root canal till Wednesday. I'm like that's not going to work. So I made some phone calls and 2 hours later Dr Scott Shamblott (yes from the Tv commercials) had me in his chair 2 hours later!
He stayed 2 hours past closing because well things never go as planned with me. Root canal on one tooth turned into 3 teeth. And Im still not cleared to take Tylenol (or Ibuprofen or Aspirin) so this girls hurting! They tried one med but Walgreens can't fill it without acetaminophen.
He gave me his cell number to call if things got bad. Though I felt horrible calling I knew I'd never make it through the night.
Even though Dr Shamblott was already home and the office is closed he is coming back to St Paul to meet my husband after rush hour to give him a different Rx.
Seriously best customer service I've experienced in a long time!
I felt so often people are the first to write a bad review but never say the good. I didn't want to be that person!
P.S-The office staff also was amazing! They never made me feel like I was inconveniencing them for staying late and made sure I was comfortable as possible the entire time.
Also nitrous oxide is included in the price of all there procedures so if you need it, its available!

I always recommend Shamblott Family Dentistry to anybody I know looking for a new dentist. All of the staff are so nice and helpful, and I never get the "clinical dentist" vibes that I've gotten from other dentists. It's actually a very relaxing environment and I've never had a negative experience here.

Impressive Dental business model. It's not just about the money, they care about dental health and their patients. Most thorough dental exam I have had in 30 years.
As a followup, I visited again a few months later due to an emergency pain in the tooth/gum. They analyzed a complicated interaction between a couple of teeth crowned and posted within about 15 minutes. Pictures and explanations with a follow-up treatment plan. Once again, very impressive dental care.
